Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

Did you add a tablet 1st? The available plans won't show up unless you add a tablet. Then you'll be able to see the 10 different tablet plans available.

See the attached screen shot. Supposedly you have to be logged into the business site, choose a tablet, and then the $10 plan shows up as one of the tablet plan options.

The URL for the Alcatel Joy Tab 2 that the screen shot was grabbed from is:

In the past, I was able to choose SIM Only, select tablet plans (instead of phone plans), and choose just the $10 plan also w/o a device purchase. But as of maybe a month ago, the option to change the "Device Type" from phone to tablet no longer works so there's no way for me to just add the tablet sim myself anymore.

So I would like to add my experience getting this deal. I was able to get this deal online at the T-Mobile business site. I clicked on the get started link and went through the process, got my credit check using my SSN. The result was: congratulations you are approved for up to 12 lines. I went and looked up the tablet and added it to my cart. Then I chose the tax included business magenta plan. I had to scroll down to the bottom and it was on the left hand side. I went through the checkout process flawlessly. It did say the tablet was on backorder but I didn't care as long as I locked in the deal. The invoice breakdown show the tablet with the promo for monthly credits in order to get it free at the end. It did show a $20 charge for a Sim starter kit and $10 for the first month of service Plus like three dollars and change for taxes I guess. I got an email later confirming my order and the usual BS. Fast forward a week later I received my tablet and SIM card before the estimated ship date. I unboxed it and popped the Sim card in place and the tablet activated on its own. When you open a business account using your SSN in order to get online access you have to register the account on the consumer website. It asks you for the phone number but if you go into the tablet settings my tablet said phone number unknown. What I did at this point was send a text message from the tablet using the messaging app to my cell phone so I could see my tablet phone number. I was able to set up online account access that way. I checked the account details and everything was fine. Now in order to get the HD pass added I went through Twitter and requested it through there business support handle. They did this instantly without any objections. I tried to get them to credit my $20 back to my account for the SIM card but they said they could not do it. So I thank them and disconnected. Later that day I went on the T-Mobile app on my tablet and contacted them through the chat icon. I explained to the representative that I did not notice I was charged $20 for a Sim starter kit in my order for the tablet and that I had one lying around I could have used to save the money. I kindly requested if she could credit those $20 to my account and after verifying my order number she said that would not be a problem and 10 minutes later the $20 credit was showing in My Account Details. I know a lot of you have had trouble getting the HD pass added and also getting credit back for The Sims starter kit and stuff. I figured I would share my experience here and hopefully it will be helpful to any of you trying to accomplish a similar result to mine. This is a killer deal and I just thought I would get this tablet for the kids for road trips and stuff. I am seriously considering getting another tablet before the deal expires. Cheers!

Btw, couldn't find info on this but just tested it - the tablet still works overseas at 2G speeds (same as the included regular T-Mo international roaming plan).

Worked in Portugal and Spain.

I added 2 lines last month without free tablets.
Just tried to add 1 more line with free Tablet, it did not show break down at check out invoice. Therefore, I could not finish check out.

Is any one have the same problem?

anyone knows how to mod Inseego Mifi so I can use it instead on a tablet..

just got 1 $10 per month tablet line... also sign up business internet plan for $50 a month with a free tablet line as well.

my business location can easily get above 200Mb download on Tmobile 5G.
