They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

UPDATE: Since I got my line working, called them to add a second line and rep offered the Galaxy Tab A7 tablet for free (after 24 month credit). Told them I'll check the site to see if I want it, and call back - now I see a Chromebook 511 is free (after 24 month credit) and that cost $400 (vs $200 for A7) so a better value if you don't mind paying tax. Anyone get that?
Decided to forgo it and just get the cheap tablet since I'm not a chromebook fan and figured I'd never use it. I'd probably rarely use the tablet as well but figured if I ever need to contact them, it'll be better to have the SIM in a tablet instead of a phone.
The Inseego 2100 (most if not all are factory unlocked) is around $150-200 on eBay, and the Inseego 2000 is about $100-125 on eBay. Loading a custom firmware that masks the IMEI (with the possibility to unlock the hotspot) is quoted to be $150. Since I use both Verizon and T-Mobile, it was an easy choice for me to keep my Inseego 2100.
T-Mobile site shows me a7 for $5 after after pay but no way to checkout with business account…

However, I did USB tethered my Inseego 2100 to a Mango router on vacation and got 35GB+ without any throttling within a one week timespan. So, just can't go over 10GB in hotspot only but can go over 10GB when tethered via USB.

Any trustworthy site from where it can be bought?
