Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

2100 needs no modification to use the allowed(10GB of 5G and LTE combined) of Hotspot Data per cycle/month.

Same for me. The T-Mobile Magenta Business tablet data SIM works "out-of-the box" with my stock Verizon Inseego M2100 cellular hotspot.

So it is using cell data and not hotspot?

If I'm understanding them right, it uses hotspot data... And only is OK if you stay under 15gb a month

Is there a way to get this plan with just the SIM? I don't want the device.

For my previous response, I was only answering a forum member's question about whether the M2100 works with this deal's SIM without any modifications to the firmware.

I am not aware of anyone being able to get around the 10GB hotspot limit without either modifying firmware/IMEI or using USB tethering to a router or USB tethering directly to another device/laptop. For my specific testing, I was able to use my Inseego M2100 with a Mango GLI.net router via USB tethering with over 35GB data during a one-week vacation.

Sorry to hear about your AT&T experience. Seems a number of people that post on these phone service threads have had issues with them.

Can I ask why you have 10 phone lines?
One for each of the 10 phones he carries around in his pocket, since T-Mobile doesn't allow family plans or any such thing...

Yes, but you'll have to call in or visit a store.

The tablet is the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite?

Your bill shows a promo code T941 which is the credit for the tablet?
Yes that is correct

How can you use a 5G phone to USB tether to a mesh router?

You need to install PDANet to not trigger hotspot usage, but there's no way to install it on the router on the other end.

Something like:
5G phone => (via USB tether) Mango GL.iNet router => (via ethernet cable) Eero/Mesh router

That would use hotspot data. There is nothing there that would conceal your tethered data

I think he just left off that the 5G phone would be running PDANet with the USB port option. I think the phone would just use data, then.

A phone running PDANet can't connect to a router. You need to be running PDANet on the other side.
