Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

How do you set up for incoming calls with this? Can you receive calls to the google voice number on the phone? Calling out will work with google voice, but isn't incoming calls will be forwarded to the linked number which this plan doesn't support?

Only one person claimed having voice but intentionally chose not reply when asked to show some minimum proof.
Then he continued to claim having voice while ignoring the proof requests.

These tablet plans are coded as non-voice lines on the server level, not on the sim card level and won't have voice no matter what sim card you use. Anyone with a basic database/programming knowledge would know that it is impossible for such a bug to exist and last.

It reminds me people claiming wifi calling works on any device because they can use google voice/whatsapp calling. They actually don't know what they are doing.
It also reminds me a SD user claiming he could easily unlock any carrier phones, while in fact he just sold the locked carrier phones and use the money to buy another unlocked phone.

got the M2000 patched by rich. ok at first, invalid sim and then 'no service'. anyone have this issue? changed the sim to another device and works fine.

How much was the service and turnaround time? Sorry, don't have the answer to your question. BTW, did he change the IMEI? What is he exactly doing with this hotpot?

You may not aware of that not supposed to connect that used tablet IMEI to any tmobile network at the same time with its own modded M2000. Otherwise, T-mobile will blocked both devices, as Rich said.

Bingo. There's one person claiming to have voice, they won't provide proof, and that's not how plans work. Either they don't know what they're doing or are on a different plan.

I'm only getting 7-9megs with HDPass using a Oneplus N200.

How are you guys getting speeds in the hundreds? Is it because I don't have strong enough signal, or is it another issue?

They are probably using a VPN. If you're streaming video, no matter what device you're using, T-Mobile is going to throttle the speed to HD which is 7mbps. Using a VPN bypasses the throttle limit.

Has anyone figured out a hack to use the TMOSH1 without the battery installed? Keeping the battery in while the device is always plugged in to a power source will most likely degrade the battery life. Not good if I want to go mobile with it at some point.
