Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
Some people don't live in a house.
Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Lucky.

I got $20 auto pay credit for each $10 line.
I am earning $10 per line.
BTW: I activated 2 lines on an iphone 13 pro max, one on esim and one on physical sim. My bill is -$20 after $40 auto pay creidts.

How do we do eSiM can we change online? Or? Thanks

Did either of you patch yours with the TMOHS1 Root Utility? I'm wondering if the patch made it stop running without the battery. I didn't try to run without the battery until after I patched.
Both of mines are patched that run without the battery. And here's confirmation from another user when this question came up a month ago in this thread.

Just adding some details from my testing today after I saw these posts. My device is also patched and rooted and doesn't start up if the battery is not installed in the TMOHS1.

However, if you power it on and then remove the battery, it stays on. I didn't even try any fancy chargers, just plugged into my router's USB 3.0 port.

With that being said, an Interesting thing that I noticed is that, if I take out the battery after the TMOHS1 hotspot has booted up (assuming, it's when you start seeing the signal light and it's trying to connect to the network), the hotspot turns off.

But, if I power it on and take out the battery as soon as it's on (only wifi & battery light is on), the device worked and stayed on for more than an hour. I'm assuming here, this way it might stay on as long as you would want it to.

It all maybe a shot in the dark or just a fluke, if you try and it works, do update here.

You may not aware of that not supposed to connect that used tablet IMEI to any tmobile network at the same time with its own modded M2000. Otherwise, T-mobile will blocked both devices, as Rich said.
That is good info to know - I likely would have continued to use the tablet I copied the IMEI from on T-Mobile. Thanks for sharing that. OK, so do you know if the tablet I copy the IMEI from has to be a 5G, or can it be a 4G - I have an extra Tab A7 Lite that I got for free (after 24 bill credits). I can designate it as wifi only, if I can use its IMEI for the firmware on the M2000...

Does not matter. Up to what you like to use. But according to one of the member here, he said he was getting 5g even its IMEI is 4g. Who knows. I am waiting on mine and will report back

I had to get a new sim from them because I was not an existing t-mobile user. What's their Twitter handle?

I tried to add the line with esim two weeks ago myself online, when they were first run the promotion, but they took that option away lol. Lucky you
Not luck.... just an early adopter! I try to do everything with eSIM, as it makes life a lot easier (and you don't have to worry about those pesky SIM charges!)

VOICE is automatically defaulted to Active on any and all lines. So it has to be turned off for Tablet lines.

I placed the some in a 5G phone and cannot dial out. It says to call T-Mobile customer service.

If it's one in the store you have to pay for the service. Online it's free but only after you have the account created in store . Just now $35

Good catch! I pulled the battery as soon as the hotspot showed the all white startup lights and it's stayed on since. Looks like that's the trick!
