Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
Some people don't live in a house.
Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

I use the Cudy LT450 and Cudy LT500 routers myself. Bought four of them for $50 to $70 used (Amazon, Facebook marketplace, Mercari, etc. Works great with this plan after setting TTL to 64. The Cudy LT18 has a much better cellular modem but is in the ~$400 range.
What exactly is Mercari?

1. You might have to update firmware
2. Log into device (192.168.10. 1 or something like that. It's on the router)
3. Go to TTL options and just choose 64 and save.

That's it

How much did you get it for?
Thanks! $105 new on Amazon

As 'huge' mentioned, I always update the firmware. For the LT500, you can find the latest firmware here: https://www.cudytech.com/lt500_software_download

As for a guide, I haven't looked for one but that doesn't mean there isn't one out there; google search is your best bet. It's all pretty easy though. Log into your router at "cudy.net". To set TTL, go to Advanced Settings > TTL > Custom Settings and set the value to "64" for T-Mobile. This TTL setting is all you need to do to mask router/wifi data as on-device data.

To test out each LTE band and choose the best one, go to General Settings > 4G > choose Band Select at which point you can choose one more more LTE bands. T-Mobile uses bands 2, 4, 12, 66, 71 (i.e. skip bands 5, 13, 14). Choose a band at a time and run a speed test. Then set the router to whatever band is fastest for you.

fwiw, in Advanced Settings, I also turned off IPv6.
Thanks, for the advice! Appreciate it.

It's another online marketplace that people sell their stuff on. I currently see used LT500 posted for $63 and $68 shipped.

Thought I'd post a quick update on activating new lines...

I opened an account in March with two lines. Now I wanted to add two more.

I bought two SIM cards on eBay ($7.50 each, cheaper than T-Mobile's SIM kit). Tried to activate them today on the website but got stuck at checkout with a system error, "try again later". Contacted them through Twitter, and after waiting around a while, found out they can't activate new lines via chat.

Finally called 877-347-2127, and the rep activated the new lines with no problems.

So the deal is still alive, but you need to call or go into a store to activate.

Yup. You can get a 5G gateway for under $100.

I actually get around 40 with my unlocked 5g phone, and up to 350 with the gateway. A lot depends on the band. N41 is the fast one

Which gateway/router combo you using? I have a Nok 5g21 in the mail coming to me now, was going to pair that with an AC1900 running Merlin.

I saw Inseego M2000 5G just above $100 on eBay. Thinking if I should get it, do you have any other gateway you suggest? Thanks

That's probably one of the fastest and cheapest 5G options

I think you should not buy it.
Rich here who flashed my Tmobile M2000 (supposed to be M2000 to use the sim without hotspot counts. It did not work. So that he decided himself flashed) to M2100 Verizon without my knowledge, and it is terrible.
He charged $150 and did not reverse back my Tmobile M2000 when I asked for. And it does not worked with any Asus routers neither USB or Ethernet
That cost me M2000 $124 shipped + $150 Rich + $5. mailed to flash + iPad IMEI (cannot use any more with Tmobile since I gave him to flash M2000).
Hard lesson learned!!!

You'd be far better off just using an tmobile or unlocked hotspot pairing it with a cheap ass Asus 40$ router or Gli Net Router that can do TTL change. Why go the Rich route..

1. which number should I call to open a business account? The reps seem to have no clue and I got transferred around more than 5 times and still couldn't open a business account for me

2. I tried to open it online, it said approved and then asked me to choose a device but I don't want a device, just want the sim plan, how do I proceed? Cannot get anywhere and once I closed the browser, I cannot login. Seems that they don't have my information setup with a business account at all.
