Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

If I call in to order do I have to buy the tablet or can I just get the plan? If I can just get the plan, can I use an old Test Drive SIM and not have to pay for a SIM kit?

When I use 1.1.1.1 VPN on the free Tablet that cap is gone (let me post Fast website/Netflix's benchmarking website)

I asked Twitter T-Force and they HD Pass but I guess it's the 720p version and not 1080p one cause I get throttled at 5 Mbps on Fast/Netflix website.

Before adding it I used to get like 1.3 Mbps on Fast/Netflix website (last image is from March before adding HD Pass)
I just tried this. My fast.Com speed goes from 6 to 35
But my speedtest.net goes from 200 to 35

I was able to use an old sim. I haven't tried with old test drive sim yet, but I might try this week

I just tried and can confirm that got above the 7Mb limit at fast.com. Very interesting, is there any settings we can do with the hotspot to remove that streaming limit? I have T9 and TMOHS1

When you place an order with a phone rep, you can ask and will probably get the HD/4K video speed upgrades.
The HDVPASS0 code gives 1080 video speeds as opposed to the standard SD 480 speeds, and from what has been posted here there is a 4K upgrade too.
Search this thread for 4K and HDVPASS0 and HDVPASS for more.

Tests with a Win11 PC connected to the TMOHS1 with WiFi:
Speedtest.net speeds with the Sim in the TMOHS1 here are 37Mbps +/- Down, 6Mbps +/- Up which is above the 4K minimum of 25Mbps.
Fast.com speeds: 2.5Mbps Down/Up.

Tested speeds with the Sim in the A7 Lite tablet:
At speedtest.net: 100Mbps Down
At verizon.com/speedtest: 102Mbps Down, 10Mbps Up, (Verizon uses Speedtest.net)
At Fast.com: 2.5Mbps Down/Up

Granted that comparing Speedtest and Fast is like comparing apples and oranges.

Now if connected thru the free Proton VPN, with a Win11 PC connected to the TMOHS1 with WiFi:
Fast.com: 40Mbps +/- Down, 5Mbps +/- Up.
Speedtest.net: 35Mbps +/- Down, 5Mbps +/- Up.

Tested speeds with the Sim in the A7 Lite tablet and connected thru the free Proton VPN Android app:

Fast.com: 75Mbps +/- Down, 7Mbps +/- Up
Speedtest.net: 60Mbps +/- Down, 6Mbps +/- Up.

It looks as if connected thru the Proton VPN is similar to using 1.1.1.1 mentioned above.

Of course, all these speeds will greatly vary depending on the network's saturation, time of day, and other factors like cell tower availability, and if using a VPN on the servers' capacity/saturation/availability.

One thing to watch out using the free Proton VPN is that many of its USA servers are at 100% of capacity and most others run at around 90%-95%.
There will be no connection to a100% capacity server so one must search for another server with the lowest % used capacity.
Proton VPN used to have only a few USA servers but now it has a few dozen.

This has been answered by others, and I have answered this a number of times in this thread. All Verizon Inseego devices that I have owned have come unlocked from the start. Reports online seem to indicate the same unlocked status.

I paid $100+ tax for mine from eBay.

Thank you. Sorry I couldn't find the right post, specially while traveling. It's brand new.. so might give it a shot for 150 if they agree..

1. which number should I call to open a business account? The reps seem to have no clue and I got transferred around more than 5 times and still couldn't open a business account for me

2. I tried to open it online, it said approved and then asked me to choose a device but I don't want a device, just want the sim plan, how do I proceed? Cannot get anywhere and once I closed the browser, I cannot login. Seems that they don't have my information setup with a business account at all.

You'd be far better off just using an tmobile or unlocked hotspot pairing it with a cheap ass Asus 40$ router or Gli Net Router that can do TTL change. Why go the Rich route..
Well, even if you do the pairing, it will still be capped at the speed of the tmobile or unlocked hotspot.. and tmobile other hotspots, like the franklin T9 and TMHO1 are giving speed of ~30 mbps down..

Not quite. The AC1900 requires flashing and it's not AX. That should be enough information for you to know what I'm referring to 😉

I don't want to mislead anyone though, so I have to make sure it works.
Sorry I didnt get it, elaborate please?

Can someone please confirm that a Verizon M2100 on this plan will pull native and not hotspot data without tinkering? Thanks.

Does m2100 give much better speed because of 5G? TMOHS1 and T9 are both about 30-40Mbs download

$150 brand new is a fair price.

That is correct. If you put this sim in a 5G supported device (including iPhone) you would get somewhere in the range of 250-350 (maybe more or less depending on the coverage)
