Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

If you modded the TMOHS1 with the script that was on this thread, it will count as tablet/on device data, I have two running like this.
Is it possible to get 2 SIMs for the same data plan, and put them on two hotspot devices?

Not possible

EDIT:
Or do you mean 2 SIMs, each with identical but separate data plans ?

Speed good?

Worth it to get a 5G hotspot?

Wonder if anyone has a script to mod an Inseego M2000?

Yes, it is possible.
Just chat with rep ask them to send you a SIM. Once you get the SIM chat again to activate the new SIM on the same plan on your account. Applause

How can that work to have two active SIMs on one single plan?

I mean a single plan (pay $10 a month), and get 2 sim cards - one for tablet and one for hotspot, for example.

Good news, I received the Orbic 5G and did a few tests.

Put in my sim and it fired right up and connected to T-Mobile 5G.

I haven't figured out what band(s) it's using but my speeds are 250down/50up with the device from a laptop connected through the 5ghz WiFi6 (vs 50/10 for the TMOHS1).

I ran through about 4gb of data so far and it is NOT reporting as hotspot data on the T-Mobile website, so it works like the Inseego M2100, plug and play with no need to edit TTL.

Now the bad news, the device shows up in my account as "4G Mobile HotSpot - Orange" so T-Mobile could certainly see this on your account however that's a risk I'm willing to take. (The TMOHS1 shows up in account as "Phone-first Unknown Device").

Also if someone knows how to see what bands it uses, please let me know.

Edit: I tested ethernet connected to a desktop and with no changes, the data is seen as on device, NOT as hotspot, which is amazing.

I plan to test the ethernet port at some port, is there anything else I should test?

Interesting, how is the speed compared to m2100 or Nok ?

I don't have either however since the Orbic 5G has N41/n71 per specs, I expect it to be faster than an M2100 and about the same or slower than a NOK.

If anyone cares, my Netgear M6 Pro (MR6400 for Dish5G) got 609/37 Mbps last time I ran a speedtest.

It does have Ethernet port or USB tether ?
