Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks. My unit is definitely defective as it factory resets (using the pin as well) to the previous owners WiFi name which is clearly his pet name or something. What a pain.
Welp, my m2100 is doing what yours is doing now. And it doesn't give data even with a Verizon sim connected.

Well that's $180 down the drain. Can't even sell it cause I have a smidgen of integrity.

I wish I had waited a couple of more days to confirm the Orbic was good before making the purchase. (Why don't T-mobile had let their EIN customers see their data usage... so mad.)

Oh well, back to the TMOHS1. (This thing might be slow, but it's been rock solid)

So far it looks like:
If you need 5g -> get the Verizon Orbic Speed 5G or the Dish/Project Genesis M6 Pro (you have to get it unlocked)
If you don't need 5g -> Get the TMOHS1 and do the little TTL trick.

The Inseego M2100 works well right out of the box, but it's just not reliable.

Yeah that really sucks re: the M2100. Maybe this Rich Hathaway guy whose name is everywhere related to this topic, can help with it. It's too bad the flashing information for M2100 is not available on XDA. Folks used to share such stuff openly in the good old days.

I might be alright. I checked the eBay listing from my purchase and they have a 30 day return period. I just sent the seller a message requesting a return.

I do have a $205 dollar Verizon gift card and a bunch of Verizon Dollars built up. I'm going to buy a Orbic Speed 5G straight from the Verizon store that way I know I have a warranty and I can return it if something goes wrong. And it's basically the same price as what they are selling it for on eBay.

My tmo business account page shows data usage for tablet plan, my account also got voice lines.

So if we do buy from Verizon how do we get them unlocked? It says locked for 60 days after activation and also there is a $35 activation?

That makes sense. I just ordered an MR6400 from project genesis earlier this week, hopefully that works without hiccups.

You'll need an unlock code for that device, but then it works flawlessly as far as I've read.

I didn't want to mess with verizon as I don't have an account with them, and the orbic was still cheap on ebay when I got it. Though I do remember reading they will come unlocked, but now I can't seem to find where I saw it.

Alright been playing around with SIM card in iPad 11inch 5g. I did a chat to request hd pass and chat rep said they added it. I can't find anywhere on my T-Mobile app or website login that I have it. Did a fast.com test about 10 times in a good 5g area and got 6.44 average. So I assume from this I have the hd pass?

Check on the PDF statement of your bill
There's some more detail there and I've seen the HD pass on there for me

I haven't got the next bill yet generated if that's what you are talking about as I just signed up.

I had tried a m3100 in the Verizon store. I upgraded a phone line on my account and switched it back after the upgrade. I put the tmobile sim in and it worked right there in the store.

I was happy for a minute until I realized it was pulling from the mobile hotspot data.

Yes, there is a $35 activation fee and a $50 restock fee. I'm going to suck it up and pay it instead of getting stuck with a $200-$300 dead device fee.

At the time user who had an Orbic and could confirm that it worked weren't able to see if it was using mobile hotspot data. His (or her) idea was to wait until the end of the bill cycle and just go wild with the data. Another user who could see the usage had just ordered one and was going to test it out. But I had already went ahead and ordered a m2100.

I'm returning the m2100 for a refund and I'm getting the Orbic.

No, that M3100 likely had a live Verizon SIM inserted 60 days or more prior.
