Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

You have to call or message a T-Mobile rep and ask nicely for them to add it (SOC code HDVPASS0). They might not do it or saying it's not compatible with the plan. I got shot down the first time I asked to get this added to my lines. If you get a rep who won't add it, don't fight it. Just thank them, hang up, and try again later with a different rep.

Thanks was able to contact T-Mobile via twitter and they were able to add HdPass

Thanks so much WickedNews, I was able to locate the account and get the free HD Video pass added for you. That will take effect immediately, if you're already streaming something and don't see any change, you may need to refresh the browser or app or close out of the app or browser completely and then reload the content. That will remain in place for the lifetime of the line as long as you're on an eligible plan.

Wait, so do the hotspot devices come unlock or no? Haha
I really don't know. The one I bought worked right there in the store. It was temporarily activated for maybe 30 seconds on a Verizon line though.

No, that M3100 likely had a live Verizon SIM inserted 60 days or more prior.
I didn't. I purchased it brand new. It had never been opened or activated before.

MR6400 is Dish / Project Genesis Netgear M6 Pro. And yes MR6400 does work with this. I use it. The person you quoted asked for "M6", but there are also variations of M6 like the M6 Pro does.
Now I'm thinking I should have went for this one since it has all the bells and whistles and I can mask the imei.

I live in a project genesis location.

This is a business tablet line requiring a business account. Which means there's not going to be a mechanism to switch a consumer tablet line over to a business line. You're going to have to open a business account to get this $10 tablet line.

I dont understand why would you pay $10 for this and convert to Google voice. GV is free. All you need is a gmail to sign up.

$10 tax inclusive plan very good, very fast on 5G, not fun to sign up with a business account.

Thank you.

Possibly bad news. I was traveling in Denver this week. I used the Orbic 5G with Wi-Fi (not Ethernet and no intermediate router), and I ran out of data. I got a text warning at "80%" of data and then another text warning at "100%" of data, with the second text stating that my data will now be slowed down (600kbps) until next month, unless I switch the sim back to my "smartphone" (really, my tablet).

Interesting datapoint. On my iPhone connected via Wi-Fi to my Orbic 5G, Speedtest shows 0.4mbps down and up, but Fast.com is still reporting 6.6mbps down and 3mbps up. It looks like I can still watch fast HD-quality Netflix/Hulu even though I've gone past the 10gb of wireless hotspot data.

I'm going to test the sim in my M2100 sometime this weekend.
==> Speedtest in the M2100 = 12mbps down/ 2mbps up
==> speeds are faster in the M2100 but speed seems a bit throttled compared to what I should be seeing in my house, but it's still better than 0.4mbps down/up.
