Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

So far this Orbic 5G stinks, I think I might have a dud. It keeps dropping to 4G. It shows 4G but I can tell I'm getting 5G speeds on wifi. Sometimes it's clearly 4G speeds. When I plug in anything into the usb port either to charge or to tether, the speeds slow to a crawl. I don't understand why. Which means I wouldn't want to charge it while using it.

This is the 3rd device I've tried after the tmohs1. And I can say that other than not having 5G it's been the most consistent of all of them.

Only one device left to try and if it doesn't work. I will admit defeat and put that sim in an ipad.

On a sidenote: I have an unlocked Galaxy Fold 4. I put the tmobile sim in there and it pulled 5g UC speeds. Sweet Jesus that's what I want.
Sorry to hear this. I definitely don't have the same experience with my Orbic 5G. The Orbic and M2100 work well with no issues (except for me running out of data on the Orbic in my 2nd month of trying it with only wifi hotspot mode).

Can you tell me exactly how to get to the page that shows "web access"? Every time I log into my T-Mobile business account, I keep forgetting which page is actually helpful.

Maybe service is just spotty right now. I was so happy at first too. I've been experimenting with stuff like pdanet. It works but not too well with my work laptop and our VPN. I'm going to try to root this phone and change the ttl next.

I log in on the web at tfb.t-mobile.com. Then in the left pane choose Manage Accounts > Manage Lines > select a line on main pane > Usage > View Usage Details (small magenta text, bottom right) > Data

So web access is on device data. When it's hotspot against the 10GB, does it say hotspot?

I haven't consumed hotspot data (in Cudy LT500 router) so I can't answer your question; hopefully someone else can chime in.

Same - random note, popping a regular phone plan SIM into the Cudy works for a week or so then gets shut down.

What does "gets shut down" mean? Speeds slow to a crawl cause you consume all hotspot data? I have multiple tablet sims and one phone sim in Cudy routers running for months now and haven't had issues (besides one of the LT450 routers apparently dying and needing to be replaced). Just need to set TTL to 64 to mask hotspot data use.

I set TTL. Full not working. Was full speed, then the connection died completely.

The method that @waterchange mentioned is how I access my data usage. And more update, so when I click on my line, under Device, I now see a picture of a tmobile home 5G hotspot device and it's listed as a "Unknown Device" the rest I assume is refering to the Free samsung tablet I got and when I click on "view more" it lists my tmobile sim # and then the IMEI for my MR6400. I'm up to 18gig of data usage, and still getting 30-100+Mbps (speed varies, I guess depends on network congestion etc?). I'm thinking of changing the IMEI for the MR6400 to the one on the free samsung tablet and see if there is a difference.

Possibly it's just a router hardware failure. Or the one thing you could try that costs nothing is to adjust the router's imei to say a tablet or phone and see if that changes anything (in the miniscule chance that the Cudy router's imei is somehow causing a service block). Otherwise I'd try another router if you're motivated enough to get it working. As I mentioned, a phone sim in the Cudy router works fine here.

Is the deal dead? The original Reddit link says the promo ended 3/31?

I have a real business, and just need a tablet line for normal use with a tablet.

Tried the SIM in my Nokia, and Netgear M1. Not a router issue, once it died it died. Popped back into a phone and worked immediately. Also have that Cudy on this tablet plan and it's fine too.

I stand by the original claim - a phone SIM in the Cudy will die.
