Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Just tried this online, and got spit back out for the credit check using my EIN.. Then I tried my SSN and it still errored out.. spent over an hour on the phone getting bounced between different CSRs - to end up with "You need to go to a store to verify your business information".
Not sure how others have been able to get through the process 100% online.
What a miserable experience.. I just spent the past 1.5-2 hours at a T-Mobile corporate store.
The place has music blasting on a big bluetooth JBL speaker, and the place is packed - so you can't hear anything.
After telling the sales associate that I need to come to a store to confirm my business info because it got kicked backed online, and phone support told me to come into store - I was told, that this promo isn't available unless you have an existing voice line, or sign up for a new line.
I showed her that I can go to the business website right now, and add everything to cart, as a new customer, with no voice line. I also showed her the SOCs (which she couldn't find, reminding her it's a business promo, not a consumer). I think she finally got it.. and went to her manager.
Her manager came back and rudely said that it's not a thing, that I need a voice line. Asked what cell service I had (AT&T) and said why don't you port your number over and I can save you money and get you signed up for the plan. I politely declined.
I reiterated that I've already filled out all the paperwork, I just need to verify my business paperwork - I have a copy of my EIN from the IRS.
She then called some TMobile help line, and they told her that my business paperwork needs to be emailed to [email protected]. So I did that, and sat around with zero communication from either the manager or sales person.
Eventually the sales person asked if I had gotten a response back yet. Time passes, and she offers that I could come back when I get a response.
about 30 minutes ago, I received an email back from businessvalidation, saying that it does not accept external emails or attachments, and that my sales rep needs to submit my documentation.
I called the TMobile store to talk to my sales person, and she informed me she cannot accept external emails, but her manager can. After a brief hold, she said that he won't be able to send it in either, and that I have to come back into the store to submit; explaining they'll take a picture of my phone with the documentation on it, to submit.
I'm beyond frustrated - I went out of my way to drive to a Corporate store and not an authorized reseller, thinking they would have an idea of what's going on...

They probably do have an idea. But they don't feel like helping you unless they get something out of it for themselves. Unfortunately that's the selfish truth

Do either devices have an Ethernet port? It would be nice to have a setup where you can just wire the internet connection into an existing router

do either devices require changing the config settings to bypass hotspot limits?
both m2100 and orbic works right out the box without needing to change TTL. Only orbic has ethernet port. I personally prefer orbic after trying both.

have you tried calling toll free # to sign up ? I had issues signing up online. I kept getting message that i was approved for #s of lines but the next window came up blank without giving me any options to go further. I then called in for help and rep found my application # without needing to run my credit again. I gave rep the sim card i have and told her i wanted the $10 plan. Rep got me setup within 5 mins. She didnt ask me for bus doc for proof

Thanks. Seems like the easiest way to do this would be to put the sim in the orbic then run an Ethernet cord into your existing router.

"cd" is the windows command line prompt to "change directory" to another location on your hard drive. As @huge mentioned, change directory to where you put the unzipped (uncompressed) files from the zip file.

You need to use the "cd" command to navigate to the path or folder that contains the unzipped files - the ones you unzipped from step 3. The path would probably involve your downloads folder... something like: C:\Program Files\bpus\Downloads\

... following "Downloads" would be the name of the folder that was unzipped. Again, you want to use "cd" to change the location of where Powershell is looking to where the files it will be running will be.

You can try using a guide like this - https://www.lifewire.com/change-d...pt-5185508

... Or just google something like "how to use CD in powershell"

The T-Mo corporate store clerks are scumbags who should be fired as they're giving a bad name to T-Mo.

Try the new cross-platform PowerShell https://aka.ms/pscore6

PS C:\Users\Administrator> python
Python 3.10.9 (tags/v3.10.9:1dd9be6, Dec 6 2022, 20:01:21) [MSC v.1934 64 bit (AMD64)] on win32

What next after that? This is just checking if python installed.
Do I have to go back to PS C:\Users\Administrator and then type "cd"?
