Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

I have no internet while connected Asus ax86u to T-Mobile Nokia 5g21, after enabled spoof TTL Value. Did I do wrong?

My cudy does work. But its range couldn't get upstairs.
Thank You!
See post #4148. T Mo's Arcadyan + Asus 68U. You can always try flashing the Asus with DD-WRT and manually set TTL to 65 , 66, or 68.

I bought Nokia 5g21 and have existing Asus AX86U router, not 68U. Enable spoof TTL value it shows internet connected but did not load the page. I tried enable spoof and extended TTL value get same issue.

Do you know if you're over the 10gb hotspot limit? Because if not you should at least get internet , even if it is counting toward the quota

Is upgrading to DDWRT as simple as just doing a firware update through the console?

Will it cause any issues if using a router that was converted from a T-Mobile cellspot?

Without spoof TTL value enabled, my internet connection runs fast which meant its hotspot allowance still there.

Interesting. I think fbueller has it working that way based on his response to my post , the one that E4300 mentioned

Yes. This is my exact setup.
You just turned Spoof TTL value to YES button, and it works with firewall on and leave anything else alone?
My Asus AX86U does not worked

Thanks. Did you have to let T-Mobile know first you were sending it back or choose return in online portal or you just popped label on and sent?

I get around 250~270 Mbps easily off peak hours, I live around 1.5 miles near tower but also there is busy highway near it so it goes really slow during peak office commute hours.

Do you mean Fast.com speed like for Youtube/Netflix/etc. That I get 7 Mbps only but I use 1.1.1.1 wrap (it's like a VPN but free) and it lets me use Video streaming at full speed.
Can you explain a little more how you implement 1.1.1.1 warp? Is HDPASS still necessary with this workaround?

Wouldnt you need to make changes at the router level rather than on a phone app?

I think on ASUS you can override DNS settings to 1.1.1.1,1.0.0.1 - does that do same thing?

I can't answer these questions and am equally interested in ps200901's responses (or anyone else who can answer). The one thing I do want to mention though is this. It is correct that Fast.com shows speeds of only 6-7 Mbps when HDPASS is active (only 1-2 when not). However, and it still boggles my mind as well, my Apple TV streams 4K content from Netflix, HBO Max etc. without any problems. So while I don't have an answer to the above questions, I am not sure of the practical relevance.

Yeah, that was my first order, I picked up the plan with tablet but the correct promotion code never reflected in my account so I decided to return the tablet. I had to chat with a several TMobile business agents over the Twitter at the beginning, they all told me it'll take 1-2 billing circles for it to show but we all know if done it correctly, it should show immediately.
So I asked them that I would return it and will get a full refund for the tablet.
Make sure get a tracking information for the return, because it still took some times for them to refund me after it was returned and had to chat with them again.

My 2nd line was much easier, just chatted and told them what I wanted with the same plan and the tablet, they added it without any issues.
So now I have 2 plans with one tablet.
