Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

No need to run any scripts with the Cudy. Just set the TTL and it will pull from device data
Thanks a lot.

Just to recap the steps to get started:
1) I set the Cudy TTL to 66
2) Connect the router to the gateway and power on the KVD21 for the first time with my SIM in there.
3) Use the T-Mobile Internet app on my phone to setup the KVD21

Is that right? After I did all the steps above, my gateway says there's no signal.

Do you have good tmobile signal at your location? Maybe have to activate the sim in a tablet first.

I would go in reverse order and make sure you can get data from the KVD21 first before you connect the Cudy but your steps are correct.

Can you put the sim card in another device like a phone or tablet to make sure it's activated and receiving data before putting it in the gateway?

Is this still available? Confused because I clicked the link to reddit and it says it's over but someone was able to get it in Nov 2022 per comments there.
Yeah, should be still going on. There was a rumor it was going to end in early January but then I saw someone say that deadline had been extended.

You got ip 14 pro max from EU?? Why? Isn't it pricey there?? Which country in NL vat is 19% !

Yes, you are right, I got mine from coolblue when I was there. I paid a premium but I really wanted the sim slot and ability to quickly switch providers. The rest works normally and even satellite SOS works in the US. Only issue is Verizon only allows whitelisted IMEI on their network, ATT & this T-Mobile works fine.

Still no issues with data internationally, very convenient not to have to worry after landing to go look for a sim, can't beat $10 all in.

Question about the MR6400 from project genesis. Do we need to unlock it somehow and how do we change the TTL on it?

Project Genesis will only unlock the device after 1 year. So if you don't want to wait 1 year, you have two options. 1. Use dc-unlocker and you pay ~$10 to use their software to unlock the device (easiest and fastest). 2. If you are tech savy, there is a manual way to unlock it, you'll have to google/research that. benefit is that it's free.
I'm lazy so i just used dc locker...
I haven't changed the TTL on it, and so far it's showing on device data usage for the last few months I've been using it.

I got the first bill.
How do I pay this invoice online?
I don't have tmobile phone service and the tmobile website only gives OTP code to the phone number assigned to tablet line which does not receive text.

Texts should come through from T-Mobile. Stick it in a phone or tablet

The tablet sim does receive texts. Put it in a phone temporarily to get the OTP code?

Quick question..... Saw it mentioned earlier, but forgot now. Setting up a Nok 5G21 to the x6 Cudy. TTL setting should be 65 or 66? Thx in advance!

Some say 66 and others say 68. Both work for me but when I set to 66 the TMobile app shows no data usage at all.

Just got back to the US and all worked well. Reconnected to Tmobile network once I landed and got full speeds. Really happy with the convenience of this plan.

What I am not happy about is the notice I received Tmobile leaked my name, DOB, phone numbers, etc. Really big risk for sim swapping unfortunately, so I can't use these lines for anything important now.
