Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

I travel all the time so use wifi on the road and in hotels. Just easier in a hotel to connect my Android box, turn on my wifi hotspot and watch TV on my own terms. Some hotels have decent wifi. Others don't. With this, I should be fine and just turn on and watch TV. I only have 1 bar with the Inseego at my house and yet it streams HD video without issue.

I'm trying to add a second line with the same tablet plan but the T-Force rep said the can't add a second line with SOC code ZB10HSTI. Anyone successfully add a second $10 tablet line? If so, did you call the business department or go in-store?

Why not order the free TMOHS1 from T Mobile? It can deliver at least 15Mbps. Nominal speed is around 30Mbps. Be aware that WiFi signal may not be able to reach inside big building.

I'm sure this has been answered elsewhere in the thread, but I haven't found it.

Can I get the A7 Lite promo with this $10/month plan, then take the SIM out and use it in a different device?
$10 SIM is compatible with may devices, including T Mo's phones, unlocked phones/tablets, T Mo's 5G gateways, TMOHS1. Note that you may note achieve speed north of 55 Mbps unless you use a compatible 5G phone/5G gateway.

The $25 T Mo's home internet SIM appears to be locked to T Mo's 5G gateway. It does not work with the TMOHS1 or unlocked phones.

Is there a way to get TMOHS1 online?

My orbic worked fine for a few months. A couple of weeks back it has stopped working with the TMO SIM at all. Doesnt want to connect, whatever I try. SIM works fine in my tablet. ATT SIM works great on Orbic. not sure what's causing it. Maybe TMO flagged it or something. I never even went over 50-60G of data in a month.
Did you check the APN? May have gotten erased, and you can just add it back and be up and running easily.

What does ORBIC screen say when TMO SIM is used ? assuming screen does not look same as when was working.
Just keeps saying no service. If I use my TMO phone line sim in the Orbic, speed gets limited to few kbps. Just like when I use the phone sim in the tablet.

Yes, APN seemed okay. I even Reset the device once but it didn't help.

You mean the free modem to test Tmobile network? I have a Franklin T9 from years ago when they had a test giveaway. I don't have a PC to change any settings with the modem though. This thread is so darn long, I didn't see where a Macbook could be used. I was not sure what to do and then the Inseego came up at $125 on Ebay. So I jumped on it. Looks brand new and works great.

Tmobile coverage where I live is terrible with 1 bar on my phone. But it has Band 71. I'm surprised this Inseego works as well as it does with only 1 bar and no Band 71.

Helpful reply. Theres no indication there whether the sim would be tied to a bundled tablet promo.

Anyway, the A7 promo cannot be combined with the $10 unlimited plan. The sim works well in my Android head unit though.

PM me in you're in S Cal. I can mod the TMOHS1 for you (free). TMHOS1 will run without the battery. The built-in antenna inside TMOHS1 is marginal, but no antenna will help if you're inside a large building.

Can you test with another mobile phone? Also order the free TMOHS1 for evaluation. If these devices work with your $10 SIM, then the Orbic may be blacklisted by T Mo.

Sorry to hear this. I think my specific Orbic got tagged as a hotspot. Two pieces of info to add:
- putting the T-Mobile SIM from the Orbic into the Inseego 2100 after using 10GB on the Orbic gets me full speed again on my Inseego. So, at least my Inseego is okay with the T-Mobile SIM (for now)
- I haven't tried my second T-Mobile SIM in the Orbic, so some time in the future I may try to go over 10GB on the other SIM from this deal
