Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Then go with METRO...$50 first month with free Arcadyan. Cancel after the first month and switch to the $10 SIM. 20-30Mbps is plenty fast for my needs. I can wait till the cost of a 5G unit falls below $20.
On Metro site it says :

Existing customer get your first month FREE (after that it's only $50/mo w/Autopay) plus get the 5G gateway for a one-time payment of $49.99 – that's a 50% savings.
I'm not existing customer , other than the having the plan this thread is about
It does says its a 5G device though

Doesn't Arcadyan get 5G speeds?

And it says you can only sign up in store

Perhaps the store manager can bypass the rule. The store manager @ T Mo's company-owned store can bypass a lot regulations.

The Arcadyan is a 5G unit. High speed is dependent on load at the transmission tower and the ability of the 5G unit to cleanly communicate with the tower using the high speed band. Otherwise, the speed may default to 4G (nominal 75 Mbps).

You guys are right. It is blacklisted. I took it into a T-Mobile store today and they said it's blocked due to it being reported as "stolen / undeliverable". They told me that they can't remove the block. I thought I got a great deal buying it for only $45 brand new on eBay, but I guess now I know why the seller accepted my low offer. Now I have to go through the process of sticking this unit up his farking ass for selling me this POS.
May I ask who seller was on ebay?

Another option, if you are willing to pay $40 for one month of service and get a 64GB Samsung Galaxy A14 5G phone.

You will be a customer for one month and qualify for the 5G Gateway from Metro for the $50. I got in on the above phone deal and now considering getting the 5G gateway to test with this $10 sim deal.

But I think if not a Metro customer, I just dont get the free month so it would be $50 for one month of service and $50 for the gateway

The problem is that I have to sign up in store

From what I've read on Reddit, Metro requires a voice line to get home internet while T-Mobile doesn't. I don't know for sure as I haven't tried yet.

Thanks for those added details. Upon further review since this account is set up as a Sole Proprietor account which is a business account activated with a social security number rather than a business account activated with a tax ID this account would follow the same rules as and be managed the same as an individual consumer account and this would be why you did not have access to that side of the site you are looking at. You would just want to log in and manage things normally by going to https://account.t-mobile.com/signin

You're not really missing much. Free SIMs get old after awhile.

You can't freestanding. If you attach to a hacked TTL manual set router, though, it's fine. I have my M1 connected to an Asus TTL hack using Merlin firmware, works great.

Side note: Been pulling well over 1TB each for 7-8 months now on 5 separate lines. No issues.
