The multiple ways of using this $10 line for home internet are:
1. T-Mobile Gateway + Cudy N300 or X6 which are wifi only routers to mask hotspot usage with TTL set on the external wifi router. You can use other wifi routers for this purpose but there's a menu page in the Cudy routers which makes setting TTL easy - Courtesy waterchange
1.1 Cudy router like Cudy LT500 or LT18 or the 5G P8 work as a single device with modem + wifi router. Work well for home internet. Nice thing about the Cudy modems is easy TTL (and imei magic if necessary). - Courtesy waterchange
2. M2100 hotspot device - Hit or a miss - native out of the box but less reliable
3. Orbic 5G hotspot device - more reliable than the m2100, however some people have reported throttling after 1st couple of months
4. Gateway + Project Genesis - works most reliably
5. TMOHS1 - ~ 30-50 mbps out of the box, no TTL update required
6. Tmobile Franklin - ~30-50 mbps with TTL update - the most reliable as of right now, however limited speed.
7. M2000 won't pull data from anywhere.
8. GL.iNET Spitz GL-X3000NR easier to use than Cudy and better performance but expensive. Great form factor and performance. Presets for T-Mobile TTL settings and advanced cell features like tower/band lock. External antennas.
9. M3000B works out of the box with T-Mobile version. Has battery preservation features and ethernet port. Some users say to switch 5G mode to NSA if the hotspot restarts frequently in your area.

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

When I use kvd21, I may get 100M or 2M, depending on which band is used at that moment. 2M is unusable.
If I use mofi4500 and lock the band, I get constant 20M because LTE only, which is fine but 100M is a lot better. Mofi also has a built-in TTL setting, good but not super important.
So is there an inexpensive solution to get constant 100M in this case? Most 3rd party 5G routers are very expensive and I'm not sure if they even lock bands.

After some testing the right TTL on the router for use with the Nokia Gateway is 66.

I've pulled up your account and see you have our amazing $10.00 unlimited tablet promotional plan, which is such a great deal! I'm all about transparency and will always let you know exactly what's going on and what to expect. With that being said, that HDVPASS0 feature is not available on this promotional plan my friend. The daily HD $3 pass is available and can always be added online if you need the higher definition data, even if only temporarily. Does that information help Scott? ^JenniferP

Is this still accurate, and does it mean if I put one of these business unlimited tablet plans in a TMOHS1, that it won't be limited to 10GB of hotspot data before being throttled?

I tried adding the requested features to the account, yet I was unable to do so and here's why. I have determined that account is under Magenta Bus Tab 10GB Promo. With this, please note that HDPASS0 can only be added to accounts under ONE Plus or ONE Plan w/ ONE Plus.

Seems, their system will removed all the Free HD added on very soon.
So that, I will cancel those 2 newly added data lines because I though I could remove the 2 existing One Plus lines to save few bucks but seems it did not work LOL
What speeds should you be seeing via FAST.com if you have HDPASS0 added? Should it show up under "Addons" on account?I think I have it but the rep added a "session pass" , under activity on account it says "New Session Based Pass added"
