Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

What are the free data sessions? What wifi do they work with?

This is my first comment in actual years, but I wanted to let people know.

Last week, I walked into a T-Mobile store and got this plan. Yes, the $10 per month, unlimited plan. I confirmed the SOC and everything. I am also getting a free tablet, a Samsung A7 lite.

I have also added the HD video pass.

All of this was done within the past week.
I'm doing this online and will see if it sticks. I already have one line but added one yesterday, they will try to match it to my $10 plan when I receive the sim. Put me on $60 business plan at first but will try to switch. If can't I'll just cancel the line.

I've posted about it a few times, pretty straightforward, plan is on esim on Iphone 14 pro max (EU model). Sim tray currently has my main US number, no roaming, uses the data from the tmobile sim for text/calls, no one notices I'm not in the US.

You land in a covered country, this plan connects in 1-2 minutes, receive a text with details on what data you'll get (either 256kbit unlimited or 5gb high speed + 256kbit unlimited). Your number assigned to the tmobile line also gives you 4 high speed data sessions in-flight, I got 8 hours of full internet every flight I took on United a few months ago.

Last year I took my TMOHS1 to Europe and was unable to get it to connect, my Orbic 5G worked but it caused it to get blacklisted (no more data) after I returned to the US.

Pretty happy with everything for $10 a month, I bought backup lines just in case because of all the experimenting I did.

Data usage shows I use between 10gb to 100gb monthly.
Were you able to fix it after blacklisted ?

I was able to add another new line for $10 online. They couldn't add the hdpass, was there a new Soc code you gave or what did you say?

As mentioned, I made sure that I gave the correct SOC. When I went into the store a few weeks ago, I spoke to an agent, and then I used a sticky note and pen to write the SOC. ZB10HSTI

The agent found it on the computer and was able to get it added.

Then, a few days later, I called the business customer care phone number and asked to have the HDVPASS0 add-on attached to my account. The agent at that time had no issue finding it and adding it on.

I THINK it works. I mean, my fast.com speeds went from 2.5 Mbps to around 6 Mbps. I'll readily admit to not being an expert or knowledgeable on that, though.

$10 or $15? I thought the $10 was long dead, I don't see that anymore in my business portal, just the $15 TI (not eligible for autopay) version.

Could not get it online but the store was able to add a line with it. $35 activation fee though. The store agent was not able to find the addon HDVPASS0 though.
