Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

No.
But you get 5Gb per billing period.
If you are there for 2 weeks, say in the last week of your billing period and the first week of your next billing period you can have 10Gb.
BUT, T-Mobile doesn't like people overseas using so much data and you'll probably get a warning that this is intended for a limited-time, but you'll be able to use the 10Gb.
You can use the tablet as a Hotspot for other devices like a cell phone or a PC.

I believe this is available in 11 European countries, not all, but double check.
It's high-speed data.
thanks very much

Any idea if this plan is still available? Been trying to get one for a week now but no success. In store was told that the plan is no longer available for sign up. Tried getting one via calling in but limited success there. Comms i got from phone reps was that this plan is available for government only and requires approval. I can see the $15 plan which i can get from the website itself but it has SD streaming for videos

This plan has SD streaming too. You have to find a chat agent willing to add the HDPASS after you already have the plan. AFAIK the plan is not available. You can try calling the business number in the OP and providing SOC code but no idea if it will still work. Post back if you have success. Still $15 is not a bad deal.

Yea been trying to see if this works. I have the ATT $20 plan which is pretty good. They say data is deprioritized after 22gb but I havent seen that happen. Network has tanked a bit especially connectivity where I live so I am exploring options. Came across this plan and was hoping I can lower the monthly charge to half. The only issue with $15 plan is that its SD stream. The tablet plan with ATT has full 4k streaming with no throttle.

There are some helpful TMO reps on Reddit willing to get you signed up for this plan. Both the $10 and $15 plans are SD streaming unless you have the TMO rep add HDVPass to your account. Then you'll get 1080p streaming.

It looks as if you are talking about the A9 5G tablet link:

https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/t...a9-plus-5g

But, to get that one must already have a Metro line.

The link about spoofing the IMEI of the Cudy P5 is in this post:

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=175456663&postcount=5619

I don't have the Cudy P5 but the posts here in the last couple of pages have more info.

I use the KVD21 with the Cudy X6 with the modified TTL, and also the R7000 Netgear Nighthawk with the FreshTomato hack described here:

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=162655288&postcount=5056

and here:

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=162620419&postcount=5052

For more on these just search this thread for X6 and for R7000

The Cudy X6 works fine on Wi-Fi connecting to the internet, but when ethernet hardwired to a PC its speeds after a couple of days of usage drop to unusable levels and it must be reset, turn off and on, to recover.
Tested this on a couple of X6s and both have this problem so it seems to be a defect.
It may be a buffer issue?
Hopefully other Cudy routers do not have this issue.

The R7000 with the Fresh Tomato hack doesn't have that problem.
How are you able to use KVD21 with this plan. Won't Tmobile recognize that a tablet plan sim is used on a home internet device and kinda flag it? Even if you do IMEI spoof, still KVD21 is your fault point with potential to be caught?

Highly doubtful. I changed the TTL in the Asus router to 65 or 66 and it has worked fine. TFB account mgmt shows the KVD21 device online but it hasn't caused any issues. I regularly use 600-800 GB of data per month. I don't think they really care to audit these things.
Did you spoof the IMEI on Asus Router or just the TTL change?

KVD21 cannot be IMEI spoofed, no T-Mo internet device can be spoofed, unless attached to an IMEI spoof capable router as it has been described in the last few pages here.
I don't have such router as described in my posts here. Another poster here does.

This is how it's shown in my T-Mo account:

999-999-9999

5G GatewayARC KVD21 BLK KIT - Black - 32.0GB

IMEI: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

See this post:

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=175751350&postcount=5627

Been using the KVD21 with this tablet SIM card for over 3 years now at pretty high speeds and usage, no issues.

As I said in my post above, this is the Business side of T-Mo not the Consumer side and that MAY make a difference as no cell company will be keen in losing business customers and their services expansion potential.
Most likely, even if T-Mo does an extensive audit of all its customers, business and consumers, it'll probably send an email that the SIM card should be attached to the appropriate device, instead of closing down accounts that'll probably number in the hundreds of thousands if not a few millions. It just wouldn't be good business to do so.
T-Mo has over 131 million subscribers so even if one percent is using Sim cards in other devices, that's over 1.3 million customers. Surely, it wouldn't be keen in closing down this many customers.
Moreover, it'll cost millions $$$ to conduct such an audit and the cost vs the reward is probably not there.

Heck, T-Mo has been handing out free cell phone lines and $300 gift cards for Home Internet Service to the Consumer side customers for years now to retain and acquire customers, so it doesn't look as it's in the mood of alienating and losing customers to the other major cell providers, especially to Verizon that's been pretty aggressive with its pricing lately.in both its cellular and Fios businesses offers.

Just the ttl change in the router. T-Mobile can certainly see the IMEI of the gateway on the account if they choose but they have not done anything about it.

I bought a Cudy P5 Gateway off Ebay. Kind of pricey but it allows to change TTL without scripts and easy to spoof IMEI. My IMEI is that of a tablet

FYI- this plan is still available. Got myself one yesterday from a local T-Mobile store. However, the store clerk charged me $10 connection fees (which per him cannot be waived, and is actually discounted from $35). Didn't really need the extra data line as I already have 2 phone lines with unlimited 5g data, but wanted to try it out and if it continues working great on my S25, I'll keep it and cancel one of my other 2 lines..

And yeah, the sim card is working just fine in my Galaxy S25.

Thank you for your insight. I will by a R7000 and install tomato. Hopefully that allows to update IMEI and TTL.
