I ended up using my Roku a lot because the Plex app works really well on it and is completely free (no Plex subscription/purchase required).

True, it's been on sale but in-store only to get the deal. That's how I got mine, in-store. Now it's online with S&H included.

It shows "Your cost $69.99" for me. and I am not a member. I don't really need it, though. Unless it adds the surcharge at the end.

Just so I am clear, are these actually two different streamers? The ultra and the stick? I am not familiar with Roku but had been hoping to pick one or two up for when I travel.

Yes, two separate streamers. The Ultra is comparable to the Fire TV box, and the stick is comparable to the Fire Stick 4K. The Fire Stick 4K is great for travelling.

I have both roku ultra and the chromecast with google tv (the 4k one)
I prefer the google device ($50 now [occasional sales for $40])
you can get ethernet adapter for it for $20

Google remote can switch tv input & volume, roku can only control volume (this matters if your tv doesn't have HDMI-CEC)

Also roku has ads on the home screen
Also occasionaly roku will add channels to your home screen without asking.
You can remove them but still annoying, i'm assuming they get paid for this

I bought this for Plex also. Screw using the Xfinity Flex that can't install Plex.
