Doesn't have a dedicated graphics processor, but is much cheaper than the models coming with the RTX 3050. Has thunderbolt 4 and the 90hz WQXGA OLED panel.

I am using this exact laptop now. Bought it for $650 about 4 months ago. You buy this laptop cause you prioritize the display for things like editing and media consumption. Battery life is decent with 1-2 clicks down on brightness. Color accuracy is great. The ASUS software/firmware has good OLED maintenance options. RAM is not upgradeable. Build quality is good considering the price bracket this comes in at. I have no major/dealbreaking complaints. Would definitely recommend at $620
brilliant display but need 16 gigs of RAM at least or upgradable RAM or slot..
Not upgradable ram kills the deal for me. Would love to give it a go coz my 2015 macbook 12 is dying on me, but 8gb ram is just not enough.

No idea, previously it was a liked deal. I don't think you can get a cheaper OLED laptop. Lack of graphics processor that's dedicated could mean decent battery life?

This should be front page. $620 is worth it just for that display.

Seems like a solid deal, honestly. The panel is definitely best in class for this size.

I wish they made the 4K 15.6" panel in higher refresh rate options. Maybe they'll release new SKU's one day.

Does this have a slot for an extra SSD?

Could this run Lightroom for light photo editing?

It does not have an extra slot. With 8GB, it may be slightly limiting but I think it's manageable. I think LR takes about 1.5gb of ram on boot.
