That one is also capped at 8gb of ram so the difference comes down to which chassis you like better. Most people looking at this only care about the screen
Are you that clueless to realize that the Zenbook has a 12th Gen Intel i5 processor which which runs circles around the i5-11300H in this. The 8GB in the ZB is the DDR5 type vs the DDR4 in this one.
In every possible way, the Zenbook is better than the Vivobook here for the exact same price, and due to that no one would only care about the "screen".
If this was around a $80-100 cheaper, then it might have been worth considering over the Zenbook.

Good luck making use of that extra CPU power with only 8gb ram. Any tasks you'd notice that difference in processing power will be bottlenecked by the lack of ram. I have multiple laptops with 11th gen i3 up to i7 12th gen. Most people who buy this kind of laptop will notice little to no difference doing the type of tasks this laptop is made for. We have more than enough CPU power nowadays for budget laptops. Who's going to buy a laptop like this or that ZenBook with only 8gb of ram to edit 4k video or AAA gaming? Outside of those tasks what else is there that would show a big difference between the two other than more heat and less battery life on the 12th gen i5? Even the igpu is the same. 😂 Now if the ram was upgradable then yea of course get the 12th gen version. You could then take full advantage of the chip.

If not, maybe Linux, though battery life on Linux has never been great.
This Zenbook is better in every way for $599.
