  • About this deal:
    • The highlight of this laptop is the excellent 14" 1800p OLED display with 400-nit brightness. An OLED display is very rare to find in a laptop at this price point. Functionally, this laptop should work well for most everyday computing tasks.
    • This price is $20 lower than a previous Frontpage Deal for this laptop from March.

Anyone have any experience with an oled laptop? I'm not sure I'd want oled on something with static images. I've had my LG C6 for about 5 years and last year it developed massive burn in in several spots. Mainly from playing Ark Survival I think.

OLED screens are much better now than they were 6 years ago when the C6 came out. You should be fine.

OLED has advanced pretty significantly since then. I have had this laptop since BF. The OLED screen is amazing and bright. According to all the reviews I've read and ASUS, the screen is also color accurate.

The ASUS software also has several OLED preventive/maintenance options similar to what LG offers on their TVs.

Tldr; the screen will out live the specs/usability of this laptop. Get this laptop if you prioritize color accuracy, quick/light editing, and media consumption.

8GB DDR4 3200 MHz Ram, Dual Channel (Soldered)

Does this mean it has a two 4gb sticks installed? And are both soldered or just one?

Both are soldered. RAM can not be upgraded. No additional slots for ssd, meaning you would have to remove the included 256gb to replace it with one with a larger capacity.
