Is that bad? I looked to see what I could trade in and they allow an S7. To get the S22 for $150 with a trade-in of that is great, I think? Or are there better deals out there?Whoops, something didn't update when I tried it the first time. This time it showed a much higher purchase price.

Then just about ever Galaxy S series phone shows as $800 trade in credit including the S7 series. It is a good deal and there are other threads about this offer but basically you will bu this phone at full price through Samsung, then after trading your phone into AT&T you will get the credit.
From reading the other threads, you have to be on one of their Unlimited plans to use this and you will need to stay with AT&T for I believe 3 years. Which could be a deal breaker for some, also I think it only works with monthly payments. If you want to go this route best just to buy the phone through AT&T, maybe go to an official AT&T store and do the process so there is no mailing back and forth.
Depending on what sort of plan you are using now this could be a good deal or a bad deal when you calculate the difference's in prices for the monthly plans and multiply that by 36 months. Personally in all in the areas I frequent AT&T has good coverage, I use them and probably would for the next 3 years but I use a cheaper plan then the unlimited and I don't like doing monthly payments on phones, if I can buy them out right then it is not meant for me so as tempting as it is its a hard pass for now, I like my new to me S10+ and as soon as prices drop low enough I may look for an S21 Ultra in a year or so.
