The generator you linked to is an inverter generator which would be better for more sensitive devices like APC(backup batteries), computers, some TV's etc... Inverter generators are also generally quieter.
Nothing specific just need a generator at home for emergency power. Maybe at least power a fridge or something haha
Good to know, thanks! I doubt I would ever use it to power a laptop or TV haha so would you say OP's deal is better? I got the inverter one from Home Depot for the same price few months ago I'm pretty sure I can return it for a gift card if I get this one instead. Thanks!

Non-inverter generators are much better if you plan on using high draw items such as window AC's, refrigerators with compressors, for any type of power tools, and so on. This model even has an RV plug so you can use on a camper. To me that is pretty cool, especially at the price.
They both have their own use and many people own both.
