I have one and the coverage is pretty good. Mounting is straightforward, just place higher and of course without obstructions. It's on the big and heavy side though.

I got one of these on Black Friday when it's was $199 and had it up a few months. The quality is fantastic and the motion tracking seems to have gotten better the longer I've had it up. The light is the real game changer on this though. You can adjust it from cold to warm and it gets bright as all hell. Had someone come over and install it though for $100 since I'm not super handy so keep that in mind if ordering.

I have the older version so really can't make a comparison. However, if I had to do it over, getting a solar/hardwired floodlight with two wyze cams mounted on the sides/underneath would cost less than half of this. Plus with sd cards in the cameras, you would get continous recording. Just my 2c.

You might as well do it right from day 1 by running CAT 5E/6 and set up proper IP cameras through an NVR
Or blue iris if you're more technical
