hey friend. i have seen this claim re:aspartame for years and years, maybe decades, but never with accompanying peer-reviewed and broad-scientific-community-accepted proof / papers.

i've seen many blogs and "news" articles trying to tie the two together, but only showing correlation (and not causation).

would love to see actual scientific research proving causation, and i will stand corrected. feel free to DM as to not clutter this thread. and have a good one.

Is that the extent of your research? did I specifically say it caused cancer, conclusively? Do you feel that aspartame is sufficiently benign, and equal in potential health risks of water consumption? Has there ever been an instance where the government has "approved" something as "safe" only to later after further study changed the narrative? My comment was that Pur gum has none of that unnecessary crap and does not have significantly controversial ingredients. The response I received equated the risk of aspartame to water. Make of it what you will. Or, just go at random people on a post that you don't agree with. Whatever makes you happy. Be well.
