Prices at HFT on many things have crept up over the years (but so has inflation), however, HFT still has a lot of outstanding deals and offers a lifetime guarantee on most hand tools... and then you add a 30% discount -- that's pretty hard to beat. I think the screwdriver sets, in particular, are extremely good deals.

I used to be a very big proponent of HF, and they still sell stuff that's good value, but I wholly disagree with their turn to try and be more upscale, getting rid of coupons (except for these peanuts), etc.

There are some changes with the coupon this time around. They definitely closed the loop hole where it used to stack with the instant savings items so I wouldn't be surprised if it is now limited to 5 actual items although I haven't seen anyone say it is or isn't. Seems like coupons are coming back but a lot less liberal than they used to be.

People knock harbor freight a lot, but I follow one rule, "don't buy anything from HF which would kill or maim me"... then you'll ever be disappointed. Not construction grade blah blah, but good enough for the price to get some things done.

We all miss the regular 20% coupons and free stuff, sure... but I wouldn't call this 30% coupon "peanuts." Most of the items HFT has for $10 or less is usually already a fairly good deal.

Stocked up on sanding supplies for the die grinder. Used the 30% off 5 items after work today since it's on the way home

How are they holding up? Last time they had this coupon, I bought this, made in Taiwan. It spins nice and true.

A lot of items, like the floor jack and multi ladder I just bought only come with a 90 day warranty. Of course they offer inflated $ extended warranties which most don't buy.
