The CPU are fairly close although the one in the Samsung is probably better for most tasks although the Asus might pull ahead in some production-oriented tasks that can make use of it's 6 CPUs
I think the Samsung is metal construction while the Asus is plastic.
Personally, I'd trust the Asus not to have factory defects more than I would Samsung but this is a debatable point.
Personally I'd go with the Samsung at this price but if both were at their list price definitely the Asus.
