This would look like a flea on my wrist at 39mm, but this is a wonderful size for small-medium folk in a dressier watch.

But the one in the primary listing is on bracelet, which I prefer and is usually at a premium.

It reminds me a little of that Calvin Klein watch with the eta for $100.
I have that watch. Knowing what a great deal I got on great internals isn't really enough to make me want to deal with its overall 'meh' aesthetic. I usually grab something else.

It's a nice watch but Seagull Calibre ST2130 (priced at $69) is a comparable movement.
"However, due to the expiration of its design patent back in the early 2000s, a number of other manufacturers have also begun creating "clones" of the ETA 2824-2. Some of the most recognised ETA 2824-2 clones include the Sellita SW200-1, the Seagull Calibre ST2130, and the Valanvron VAL-24."

As for Sellita SW200 watches, you'd be hard-pressed to find a $250 watch that has sapphire + a SW200. For this kind of money and specs, you're looking at a Seagull clone like a San Martin and that's pushing it because you're much more likely to find an NH35 in a $200-300 San Martin than any ETA clone.
All this without having even mentioned the name, brand history and original design.
The BIGGEST problem with this deal though, is that you're basically buying a Mercedes for Toyota money. You'll be paying Mercedes repair bills, not Toyota. The fact that this is an ETA movement, no matter if it's a very old and popular one, will mean you have maintenance to think about in the future. $245 + tax isn't exactly throwaway money so it's hard to just chuck it, buying a new movement to replace might cost you as much as the watch, and maintenance will be half the price of the watch.
This doesn't mean you should avoid this if you're new to owning an automatic watch. The ETA 2824 is a workhorse so you likely won't have to do any maintenance for years, maybe 10 or more. And for daily use, I'd advise against manual winding. Just wear it a few hours a day or, if the battery dies, give it a few good spins to start.
Especially at the flipper prices.
