That's me actually, at least for J Crew. I am exactly their medium size and with deals like these most of my wardrobe is J Crew at this point lol

Me too. I love jcrew. Their clothes fit me like gloves. Their shoes are not my faves though.

I do it all the time. Eddie Bauer, Gap, Hollister, Abercrombie, etc. H&M is probably the only site I can't buy without trying on. And that's just their jeans. And I'm 6 foot 4 and 220 lbs

That's the difference between male body and female body. From what you posted, I assume you are a male. I can buy clothes based on my husband's current sizing tags online or instore without him trying on and they would fit him fine. For female, we may be same clothing sizes but may carry weights in different places. Size 8 person A may be shaped top heavy while size 8 person B may be bottom heavy while size 8 person C carries weight in the middle looking more straight shape. Finding good fit pair of jeans on female body can take long time spending on trying on multiple jeans from multiple brands. So, it's always a gamble buying clothes online for female.
