I got the 3 pack deal from home Depot because of Slickdeals probably 18 months ago they started out great. I gave a second box to my mom. She shared having issues and then I did. They are constantly dropping from wifi and unresponsive through the app, smart things, or Alexa. Repairing them works a little while. It they'll drop within a day or two. I have a new Asus router and they were probably 4 feet from it through a 6" wall. I switched to Kasa and they worked a lot better.
Have several LIFX smart bulbs. All constantly drop off my network, along with my Cync (formerly C by GE) ones. The LIFX ones actually go one step further by self-deleting somehow. I have to constantly have Alexa find them again, and that's if they'll connect to their own app in the first place.
My Hues are the only ones that stay properly connected. Not sure if that's because they have their own hub or if Phillips just makes better products, but playing it safe and skipping any direct-to-WiFi bulbs in the future, especially LIFX. Actually, slowly transitioning to all Kasa WiFi switches with standard dumb bulbs, but the Hues will be the last to make the switch.

Something is going on there, very weird. I've been using them for years, even got a few original with the switch on them. At our house we have 12 Lifx bulbs and at my mothers apartment she has had 4 for a couple years now and I had 1 bulb lose it memory at our house and needed a hard reset and setup again and 1 bulb at my mothers apartment that died. Now there are times where google has a issue controlling them but in those cases the app always works for me. For me they have been amazing. Not only do I recommend them but I also have given them as gifts. Not only do I know people who swear by them but I've seen a ton of people online who are in love with them. But I have seen my share of people who have been plagued with issues. There is either some kind of interference, a setting or the router and Lifx's just don't get along or something because the actual bulbs are great.
I have used these lights and they are garbage. They kept losing connection to the wifi 3-4 times a day. My network speed and strength are good throughout the house. Initially I thought I received a defective item.. so I replaced it with another and another.. same issue. Ended up returning all the bulbs. There are cheaper and reliable TP Link (Kasa) bulbs available on amazon with the same or more lumens
