does anyone have a recommendation on a laser mono printer that has scan capabilities and duplex, tempted to get this to replace my dell laser but I have to scan stuff every now and then

Mine came today, but they put a new sealed toner that's not compatible with the printer...the damn thing fit right into the printer, but it's a 770 toner and not compatible...the printer can even read the toner level on it, but won't print....I have an exchange setup, but I'm wondering if I should just buy some off brand toners and keep it instead.

Edit: I contacted Brother support about the mixup in toner. They'll be sending me the correct one (TN-730) so I'll be keeping the printer.

Received mine. Printer in basically brand new shape, drum unit already installed in the printer. Tested printing from AirPrint and all is well.

Came with brand new TN-730 (not starter toner!) in separate aluminum bag thingy, essentially making this a better buy than brand new unit.

I just picked one of these up at my local Walmart for $100, too. What was odd is that another Walmart about an equal distance away had it for $187. This one was the last one at that location, I guess some stores are just trying to get rid of them while others aren't. Kind of weird, but a great deal for $100! Applause

I like mine, and also got one each for my girlfriend and her mother last summer and do tech support for them if they need it. I am trying to find the setting so it does not print on both sides though...
