As for displays, I just expect trash. At least it's 1080p.

Anyway, since we're not comparing it to any other deal, except maybe the i5, I'm asserting many people, esp buyers of this entry level laptop likely don't need the extra cores. Benchmarks have a purpose but you're quickly dismissing clock speed and putting all the weight on cores/threads which really depends on your workload if you "need" it.
1) Costco: Pros: Touchscreen :Cons: not FHD
2) B&H: Photo;Pros: FHD IPS Cons: No touchscreen & bad return policy on computers
Any recommendations if this one is better?

Appears to have no power delivery via USB-C. Also, only 5 Gb/s rate, so no display support. You can hook up other things, just not displays or power.
The original price was for an IPS display, people would be returning too many of these if not.
Forgot to add, the fan noise is horrible, and it runs non-stop. The case is poorly ventilated, or the intel chip is way too hot for the environment.

I owned the Walmart and target laptops and they had different screens, different wifi chips, but the [low end] build quality was the same.
