Curve is a gimmick but the gun itself is solid. My gun of choice when owning my kids in a nerf gun war.

The "curve" setup is pretty similar to airsoft, the end of barrel has a hop up to add spin. Just like airsoft, add top spin can help the ball fight again gravity a little bit which improve the range, while left/right/down curve is pretty cool for showoff and maybe for a trick shot.

I think you get more then you paid for at this price. As long as you know it's a single shot manual nerf gun, I was surprised by the speed this little thing fires out the little foam balls.

I bought 6 of these last time on sale for xmas, the cuve is a gimmick but fun. These things are suprisingly powerful. They were used inside thr house without damaging anything.

I bought two of these for my kids (7 & 10) at Christmas. They are junk. Jams, misfires, difficult to cock. Can't recommend. I know they are for "older" kids but I'm over 40 and still had trouble. They went back to target.

Agree with others that the curve is mostly a gimmick but I still enjoy the gun.

So target has the bullets on sale if you're lucky enough to find them. My store had them for under $5 but online showing just over $7

Kids 8 & 6 here. They both have learned to prime rivals. The 8yo doesn't haveany problems, the 6yo can but it makes it difficult enough that after a few minutes she's done. That said, this and the knockout are the easiest rival blasters to prime.

I found that attaching a string to rivals allows the kids both to use their foot (think crossbow) to help prime.

The balls are more convenient than darts to load and they don't get messed up as easily.

The breach action of loading this gun is fun. It makes single shot more enjoyable. I find that with single shot blasters it slows the game down and makes it a little more sporting to dodge, duck, weave!

Overall, this is a lot of blaster for the $$. Don't have any expectations for the curve feature and be mindful of the priming difficulty.

Agreed, got these for my kids at Christmas and I couldn't believe how fast they shoot compared to any of our nerf dart blasters. I would almost say they're too fast for indoor usage. Almost.
