Nice spot though, incase someone was specifically looking for Honma Player Irons.
The graphite shaft puzzles me a bit... is that a typical Honma trait? Most advanced golfers use steel shafts due to swing speed - perhaps these are designed for advanced golfers with slower swing speeds?

The price here is not bad.
Their in-house Vizard has great/rave reviews.
However, due to its pricey nature, especially the graphite shafts options, they are usually left with excess inventory. I picked up both TW747 and J Rose proto on the bay when they were closing out for less than this.
Yes, most golf guys opt for the steel shafts, but graphite tech has come a long way, especially easier on the elbow as golfers age.
The 85g graphite is a good weight/feel, and less stress on the arm/back/elbow.
JDM clubs are simply amazing
As you said, nothing matters in golf unless the sticks work for you.

Honma is def one of the Premium brands, especially in Asia and EU.

Like others have said, Costco's return policy is great so you can at least try them, but for $800 it would seem to make a lot more sense to buy a different name brand set that's maybe a model year older with a shaft/shaft flex you can pick to match your swing. Pricing would be similar.
Edit: scrolled down a bit and it looks like it's a regular flex shaft. Could be alright for some, but you're not getting much of a bargain over irons in the same category.
That intersection is very, very small
