Its the Omen
Victus is build really badly..screen wobbles, lower brightness , color
Dude, stop thread crapping in every laptop thread. Can't you provide the link of the Laptop you're referring? And "Victus has lower brightness screen and color" shows that you actually have no idea what you're talking about. Victus and Omen 16 both have exactly same number of panel options, starting from the 60 Hz 1080p Panel to 1440p 100% sRGB 300-nits Panel. It depends on what model you're buying. But waiting for the link.

Recently RMAed by 3060 omen, touchpad on the omen laptops this gen has a widespread issue of randomly going haywire and battery life is extremely poor even for a gaming laptop. Month long repair estimate, really regret buying it. If you don't have a need for the touchpad/occasional off charger use you're probably safe to buy it, I liked it but the 2 caveats I listed were too important to and ended up buying a legion 7 slim. The slim build quality is leaps and bounds better than the HP, I swore off HP awhile ago but didn't learn my lesson and the deal was too good to pass up at the time. It's a shame because the laptop is almost modular, hp released a full breakdown and rebuild video on replacing parts for it and the ssd is a 980 pro OEM with good ram but they still have a long way to go it seems
Omen is also a almost all plastic build. What you're referring is a single model with lower tier spec. Go to HP site and try to customize one and see how many options are available. It's a pretty simple fact which you failed to realize. But I am sure that you're not gonna check that in HP Site and will continue bragging. So, below is the link of HP Site for Victus: https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/Con...quantity=1
Go and see that how many customization options are available. The difference is mainly in internal thermal cooling solution. Omen 16.1 can have up to a RTX 3070 with 130W TGP whereas due to less capable cooling solution, Victus can only have a RTX 3060 with 95W TGP. They can have same Processor, same Ram and storage and same Display.
You never even used one in person.that explains it...no wonder, your entire experience is just web browsing..go to bestbuy, try out a omen
.
I have two of them. But the thing is if you do proper research, without even having the device, you can learn a lot of things. It is different than your research which looks like posting some article headings from here and there. And by just trying a Laptop in BestBuy gives you all the details like Display Quality, Thermal Performance, CPU Boost capability then probably reviews are were not required. Let me stop yourself a Laptop expert "By trying Laptops in BestBuy".
