Edit: no thumbs down for me on price but just giving awareness to realistic expectations
It has the standard 1-1/8" blade stroke and out of 4 (or more brands) we have, this tool does not vibrate excessively more than the rest, but and why we purchased, fits into tighter places. Depending on model, the Bosch and especially the Milwaukee with a counter balancing flywheel do have less vibration, but not enough to justify the price when these could be had for $99 last November.
For storage, we bought several of the DeWalt T-stack boxes [amazon.com] on a deal for $16 each delivered (Stanley is identical) and used the foam inserts [amazon.com] that are often on sale for less than $10. You do have to remove the blade, but everything fits.

i've never seen the price this low for the actual XR 20v one. I've seen it that low for the other models, but not this one.

Update: not hack able anymore. I did get it last week.
The DCS382B is still hackable for <$100 and is arguably a better saw

With ongoing currency debasement caused inflation, what is a deal today? Many presumed that once the huge backlog of ships that missed Christmas were unloaded, the plentiful supply of deals would last through about March. I guess if you need it, this is the deal today.
(1) DeWalt and others tend to struggle with vibration control with any of their reciprocating saws with 1-1/8" to 1-1/4" stroke, but that comes with faster cutting speeds. Put the plate tightly against what is being cut and the vibration is greatly minimized. If one wants less vibration, perhaps the Atomic DCS369 [dewalt.com] would be an option at the expense of slower cutting speed by having about half (5/8") the blade stroke.

Does it really vibrate like crazy as people say or is that exaggeration?
It's a real thing. You can to keep the saw firmly pressed against what you're cutting. The saw is great for demo work.
These are compact, light weight, and pretty powerful. Those 3 qualities make it a bit harder to control. The saw would benefit from a power selector wheel rather than a trigger control. The 4 position chuck is really good though.
There's pros and cons.
