I think the 29" dimension is really the 'depth'. Considering the cushion diameter is 44", the width should be 46".

Though I received my chairs today, I haven't opened any of the boxes. If I happen to install them tomorrow, I'll post back to confirm dimensions. Wife is taking her time to decide whether she wants papasan chairs, and so haven't opened them yet. If she decides she doesn't want them, I'll return the unopened boxes to Walmart. Don't want the hassle of repackaging and returning, once I open them.

I got two chairs myself. One for living room, one for bedroom and they are excellent and super comfortable for the price.

It might be 250lbs. I found this, which seem to be instalation instructions for this chair. It mentions 250lbs.

However, some Q&A answers on the product's Amazon listing mention 300 lbs. Also, some random blogs on internet mention 300 lbs. Done think those would be accurate though. Best to assume 250lbs.

We had similar of these 8 years ago, they were very popular then, but ALL of them broke whether it was target or walmart. Is this model stronger? The legs always failed

Does anyone know how to interpret the dimensions? Less than 29" wide? The chair by the same on Amazon is 44.9" wide. I don't want a mini-chair.
