Bought this because I used to play piano for years and wanted to get back into it. I have a smaller MIDI controller/analog-synth but never use it because there are too many steps between inspiration and sound. This is simple and has a recording function so you can practice an idea and remember it. Some of the voices are less annoying than others, and the percussion voices and rhythms are acceptable. Write down the options you like so you can find them again easily - it defaults to piano on power-up.
Nothing produced by this instrument will be suitable for recording or performing, but it's an acceptable tool for learning, composing and practicing.

I think there's a misunderstanding. If a keyboard of that size from this brand had midi for that price why wouldn't someone buy it?

Bought this around Christmas for $50. Kids have had fun with it.
Observations:
- Defaults to louder volume and default piano sound when turned on (no memory of last settings).
- Lowest volume is still a bit loud.
- Headphones or external speakers can be hooked up to it if the volume is an issue.
- It's not a full keyboard (has 61 keys)
- Seat & stand are pretty solid/sturdy. Height of both are adjustable. The stand has straps that screw into the bottom of the keyboard to keep it from slipping off.
- Headphones & microphone are super cheap.
- Finding a specific sound can be tough. The sounds are listed in category ranges (e.g., 000-007 Piano, 008-015 Mallet, 016-023 Organ), but you just have to try each number in the range to see what it is.

In summary, good for kids to play around on or if you want a cheap keyboard to mess around with that has a decent stand and seat.

Picked this up for my nine year old. She loves it, and it is perfect for her to learn on. All keys were fine, and the stand and bench assembly in a couple minutes. Very impressed for the price.
