Good deal on a great SSD. Was going to get the excellent MX500 but this deal popped up. They are both similar but the Evo is slightly better.

Thanks OP, ordered 16 to build a server for my 4K Anime collection.
Why? Kind of expensive for a video server. Literally any external hard drive would serve.

Unless you are hosting a website?

He has 50 screens playing different vids at the same time dude.

1 screen less wouldn't do it. So it's justified expenses based on need.

I got the notification w/o a pic thinking this was for an NVMe SSD, smh. Still a good price nonetheless for anybody looking for a Samsung branded SATA drive though.

Seems like 2TB SSD/M2 will NEVER really go on sale. (IMO)

You can find 1TB m2 nvme for $70 (or cheaper sometimes), which is reasonable, but why are 2TB SSDs (m2 or otherwise) ALWAYS near or above $200?

I think a 2TB SSD that goes on sale should be no more than $140 thats a slickdeal. Its seemingly been years stuck in this high price range.

I feel ya. 2tb has been stalled for like 5 years.
It's weird cell phones are half way there....Supply chain issues and pandemic probably hasn't helped.

Yes hentai is good. Even Samuel L. Jackson approves.

Full disclosure - I kindaaa am not "techie" like…at all; please help! 🤦🏻 ♀️🙏🏼 I am looking to buy a new external hard drive, but I have no idea what SSD vs NVme vs *anything other letter/number combo* is…. What is the difference?
I mostly want to always have/keep all of my "old" photos, all docs, etc. As a back up..or a "hard copy" - If that makes sense. I don't download or play games..Does that matter??

Any help would be awesome. Please & thank you! 🤗

I picked up a WD Black SN850 2TB NVME for $253 + tax on Amazon.
