He's a really awesome end boss. Definitely really difficult but not unfairly so. Keep at it and you'll get him. Might help to go back through and pick up all the upgrades. There's a lot of tutorials on YouTube but I'm sure you knew that. I'll give you a hint you might not know. On his third form You can use power bombs to destroy his large sun bomb and pick up more energy and missiles. Good luck.

I may need to get this. On Raven Beak right now and he is TOUGH. Not sure if it's worth $24, though, for an extra energy tank and random amount of energy once every 24 hours.

Mildly interesting story in terms of supply chain. I was lucky to snag one on release day before they went scarce for a couple months. Each store in my area only got a handful of them so they definitely couldn't keep up with demand. A few days later I ran into a Nintendo rep and she said there would be plenty coming soon. Nintendo drop shipped some to make it in time for release date then sent the rest on a slow boat from China. Of course there were a lot of delays at the ports too. So that's why there was so few available at launch and now they are somewhat peg warmers.

Same guy that thinks "Raven Beak" is a cool boss name.
Raven Beak is so awesome. Just give up. You'll never beat him. He's so perfect. And powerful and dreamy. Super smart, handsome, and all powerful. Yeah might as well not try. Just give up and surrender yourself to him.

NFC coins are cheaper. If you have an Android device with NFC, the app is free. I believe the best on iOS gives three free and then you pay ($10 for unlimited). Nintendo doesn't seem to care too much given how many sellers exist of Amiibo coins/cards made using this method.
I have all of the main Super Mario line, Althe three pack from Splatoon 1, and an 8 bit Mario and Link. All of them are for display. All of the others, I did coins because, well…many you can't find new and they are out of print.

I have carpal tunnel and im getting older. I had a tough time with a couple of the twins another boss and the final boss. I think it took me 2 hours to be raven beak which a lot more time then i would dedicate to more frustrating games like elden ring. I gave up on that garbage after clearing the first camp out for 3 hours and always getting killed on the final soldier to appear( wether it was a troop or the powerful leader) I praise that games effort but the learning curve and design is still garbage in my eyes. The very first fight you come across shouldnt be THAT hard.

In all honesty, I haven't tried enough. I got all upgrades and tried a few times a few nights ago. As with all bosses, I progressively got better as I learned through multiple attempts. I've only gotten to phase 2 so far, but I'll try again tonight. Thanks for the hint!

Lol, I've been calling him "Donkey Lips" ever since his name was revealed. Now that I'm fighting him, it's more like "fkn Donkey Lips mf'er" with a few other expletives sprinkled in here and there.

Scalpers got theirs when it came out. Still crazy to believe many still believe Amiibo are limited in this day in age. Nintendo have been supplying enough of their stuff the last few years.

Lots of learning patterns and using the various upgrades throughout the game such as the screw attack and flash shift. There are phases you can't harm him and have to wait for an opportunity like with the EMMIs.
It's also possible to keep refilling your energy and missiles the entire battle but especially in the first phase.
I feel dumb for how many times I died versus how quickly I beat him when I finally put it altogether. Not easy not impossible, but just the right challenge IMO.
