I don't think so, I've ordered a pair in the past and they were a good fit. I'm 6'0 and normally wear a size 34 and the large was a nice fit

FYI -- pretty long inseam at 9.5"-10.5" depending on your waist size

Just a warning - these run big. Way big. I wear L shorts and laughed when I received my shorts. I could honestly fit 1.5 of me in them. They look like XXXXXL or larger.

Do these have drawstrings? Didn't see it mentioned anywhere, but it does say elastic waist. If no drawstring, is the elastic waist enough (assuming the sizes don't run too large like someone mentioned above) to keep them up with a phone, keys, and wallet in your pockets?
