This is the lowest I've found them for, Amazon says that it's a limited time deal and this is about $4.50 less than what I paid the last time. For reference, these go for just under $9 at my local Walmart for a box of 8.

Shipping is free with Prime or on orders $25+.

There's always one of you guys… Can you link to any peer-reviewed study that shows how detrimental sucralose is to humans, or in your words, that show it's "basically poison"?
This is an animal study using very large amounts. While I don't disagree that sucralose probably isn't the best thing to be ingesting, even water will kill your if you drink too much.

"n this study, we further explored the effect of sucralose on tumorigenesis and the possible mechanism involved using the AOM/DSS mouse model. "
It would've been better for you to link to the actual journal since your own link states, "Disclaimer: AAAS and EurekAlert! are not responsible for the accuracy of news releases posted to EurekAlert! by contributing institutions or for the use of any information through the EurekAlert system."

Anyway, why this study is irrelevant:

1. This study completely lacks proper controls, such as sugar, and was done in vitro in isolation

2. There's a reason why this study was published to a low-tier journal - it's a flawed study at best

Quote from ratbastard :
There's a reason scientists use animals for testing. Do you think coal miners were dumb to use canaries? Why did people send a dog and ape to space before humans? What makes humans special that we aren't affected by chemicals? Again, I encourage everyone to make their own decisions about what they eat, but don't think artificial sweeteners are harmless. All added sugars are dangerous to any diet. Sugars and sweeteners are addictive, and no, I don't feel the need to find a study for you, because I don't need to prove anything to anyone in a deal forum. You seem like a person that is obsessed with trying to be right, so I'll let you think you are. Eat a whole truck-full of these. It doesn't affect my life in any way. Meanwhile, I'll rent space in your head for free.

Everything you eat is chemicals. Learn that and then try to educate others bout dangerous "chemicals." All "added" sugars are dangerous? What exactly is "added" sugar? If I add a strawberry to my diet, is the natural sugar in the strawberry dangerous? If strawberries were already part of my diet, does that not count as "added" sugar? If I sprinkle a tiny bit of sugar on the strawberries, does it then become dangerous? I need guidance here. Onions and sweet potatoes have a lot of sugar in them. I don't eat sweet potatoes, so could I eat twice as many strawberries?

Oh, and scientists use animals for testing because it's their best option, since it's illegal to inject humans with large amounts of potentially dangerous substances to see what it does to their bodies. Animal testing is a "best guess" type of thing. Do you really think rats, canaries, rabbits, pigs, dogs, monkeys, etc. are all great substitutes for humans in determining specific effects of various substances? It's a fact that things that are toxic to humans are not toxic to certain animals, and vice versa. No one knows how something will affect humans until it affects humans, and even then, it means nothing without a large enough sample size, and a way of eliminating other factors. That's why experimental drugs have control groups and multiple testing phases with large groups of people. No one knows how anything will affect humans based on how it affects any other animal. About all you can state with any certainty is that sucralose makes a certain percentage of the population have tummy aches and go poopy.
