Don't get the flip, fancy phone, horrible battery life. Fanciness wears off, but day to day battery usage is what matters at the end. Need to charge at least 3 times a day with regular usage

I wish I hadn't bought into the iPhone hype. Lesson learnt. Now I have to wait a year and switch back. Apart from the battery if anyone is considering switching I would recommend you use one for a week.

Which in effect is similar to "Volkswagen emissions scandal", unless I am missing something. So, if this has an effect to the future price of the phone, then this deal is just trying to be "proactive" and clean inventory, before this happens, but maybe I am reading too much into it.
I don't think it's similar at all, unless you boil it down to "company caught cheating a test".

Volkswagon was cheating on government emission tests, part of environmental regulations. This was absolutely huge. There were violating legal emission limits so there were massive consequences.

What Samsung has done is false advertising at worst. You can even see the difference in what cases are filed against them. Volkswagon and their executives had several criminal cases, plus some civil cases, brought against them. All we have in South Korea and New Jersey are class action lawsuits, civil cases.

If it was more similar, then I'd have even more confidence in buying an S22 lol. That means that sometime in the future, Samsung would be forced to fix their mistake. They'd have to buy back these devices, or somehow correct the performance to make it match initial expectations.

What happens once I cancel the service in 120 days, Can I continue paying the monthly payment on the phone for the remaining 21 months or will Fi force me to pay the full price of the phone? 🤔

So is it possible to buy this, immediately remove the Fi sim and just use your current service for the 4 months until canceled?

ordered s22 and trade-in a S20 5g which was also bought from fi last year. For my case, $25 x4 = $100 for an upgrade. no bad.

FYI, suggestion of how to use google fi. keep your old service, and throw the fi sim in the drawer, never use it again and cancel the service after 4 months.

Bought caseology parallax case and amfilm hybrid screen protector from amazon. on screen fingerprint scanner doesn't work too well with tampered glass. Used same amfilm on s21 without any issues.
