Yeah no other issue. I ported my GV for the pre-order promo.
Just to be sure for future use, you have to unlink your real phone number from the GV number you plan on using to port out and then pay the $3 to unlock it right. You get an account and pin number to port it out after that? Or it doesn't matter that it's still linked to your real number? Thank you for the information.

Is Google-Fi service on the S22 delivered by e-SIM?
I am planning to use a nano-SIM from another provider and also use Google-Fi via e-SIM. Appreciate if anyone can answer.
Google Fi currently doesn't work on eSim for the S22 series. It's supposed to be fixed later but I'm not optimistic.

I didn't have to unlink my real number.
It just asked for an account number and I think that was just the phone number again.

Strange the way ordering to shipping time is so different for individuals. Mine has been right on the projected time. Here are my details:

Ordered S22 128GB Black on April 16.
Initial Delivery Estimate April 24-26
Received Shipped Notice on April 20
Expected Delivery April 26.
It's probably related to when Fi gets phones allocated to ship. The 128GB Black S22 is probably the most common model, which would have the highest availability.

Got my phone really quick. Like how it is smaller and lighter vs S21. So far no glitches or slowdowns. Going to keep it as my main android phone and sell S21 and few others I "tried" with phone deals on SD lol!

Waiting to get an S22 Green 128GB but they've been OOS for a while 😭
Tbh, good luck with this…
I ordered S22 green 128gb on Apr 11
Original deliver date was Apr 20 ~ 22
Since couple of days ago, its been pushed out by 1 day everyday. Now it says Apr 24 ~ 26
Contacting support only repeats what I see on screen and they cannot escalate because the delivery date is known even though its pushed out everday.

Hi all,

Just a friendly reminder...

Referrals are not allowed. This includes:
  • posting referral links,
  • asking for a referral,

It doesn't matter what kind of referral it is or whether you both get something out of it. This is a zero tolerance policy. Thanks!
Why not? It's a win win for users here driving this platform. Is this why only Slickdeal sponsored links make frontpage anymore

Is any (US)carrier able to provision e-SIM on Samsung, at this time? Thx.

Is there some catch on the trade in program?

Have a T-Mobile 128 GB S21 which is offering $350. The 256 GB S22 is $350 (if it comes back in stock).

So isn't this a free upgrade or are there strings attached? I can use the phone on T-Mobile in 4 months right?

No catch.

If you had an even more valuable phone to trade, the excess would be given in Google Fi credit on your future bills.

Was very much the case for a 2020 Black Friday deal where they gave inflated trade in values for certain phones.

Why they do/did this is up to others to conjecture, lol.

Thanks for the info.

Also, for the Fi credits, are you saying that let's say I trade in my phone for $350, and I get the $300 128 GB phone, will that $50 extra Fi credit be in time to cover any of the 4 months at $20 a month?

The way I understood it, almost surely.

There was a very long thread here about. Don't think I remember it being looked at like that though. Surely, if maybe not for the first payment, you would think it would cover, what it could, anything afterwards.
