I did this deal and the Samsung S22 phone they sent me was god-awful. The touchscreen was intermittently unresponsive and the phone was overheating. It was hot to the touch, but I also did a heat test through the 3DMark App to confirm it. Apparently this a problem with the new S22 line and there is no fix at the moment. I've been a Samsung customer for over 10 years and have never had any issues like this before. I unfortunately had to return and am now wary of Samsung's phones. It's disappointing because Samsung is the only smartphone I've ever used and don't know what to buy instead. Maybe Samsung can fix these issues with software updates in the future, but for now I'll stay away.
Have you tried updating your phone? I just received the S22 yesterday with this deal, it was overheating like crazy. All I did was update the software, and the phone works perfectly fine now.

Same here. The phone was quite hot during setting up, but the software update seemed to fix that.

I will ask FI rep if using dual sim violates the $500 discount term. My gut says no but doesn't hurt to check
Did you find out?

I live in Kansas (pronounced Can-Tax-Us) and the taxes + fees on my $20/month plan is $6.23. That's over 30% EEK! . The only consolation is that it'll make it easier to meet Amex offer of $25 credit per $50+ spent with Fi.

Can I switch the Fi physical SIM to an eSIM and then use another carrier's physical SIM in the S22?

How's battery life? Samsung website full of complaints on the battery life. Hoping it has also improved with software update. Planning to turn off 5G and only use LTE.
