IMPORTANT: If you buy this for a child/teen, I urge you to consider adding Costco's 3-yr $99 drop & spill protection -- Microsoft did NOT design these for repair of any kind. Even Microsoft doesn't repair them: they just send you a refurb replacement (for $349 + tax. I know this first-hand, as I'm awaiting a refurb replacement from them for a Laptop Go.)

Specs were i7, 16GB RAM and 512GB HDD with touchscreen and can be converted to tablet mode. The only downside to that was barrel charging port with EPP discount. A slightly higher price was available on outlet though. Other than that outstanding deal with all bells and whistles.

I checked it out in-store, and it was really impressive for $599.

Some solid laptop deals have been dropping for the last few weeks; I wonder if we're about to get a "next gen" type rollout of new laptops.
May of 2021. Was able to price match Tiger Direct to Best Buy for $350.
The Costco discount is pretty good too. The 256 GB model is $899.99, while the Costco is $350 off.
