Based on the rewards calculator, it seems like to get $1500 in rewards, you would have to use the points on flights and select gift cards. Might not be as good as a deal as it looks based on how you plan on redeeming the points.
You can get the Amex Platinum for Schwab card later on, (100K bonus and same $695) fee. And that lets you cash out all your points for 1.1 cents. So a 150,000 bonus would be $1,650.

150k pts worth $1500 for flights is on the lowest end (and as noted stacked with the Schwab card you can get >1500 as straight cash from amex points).
It's potentially worth much more used for some travel (transfer to airline partners primarily, esp premium flight bookings)
For example I recently booked a ~$3000 flight using 144k points.
That's on top of the many hundreds in various credits you can get during your 1 year of membership.
i got the Platinum from Morgan Stanley in Sept 2021. What are my odds of getting this approved? i know i will get the signup bonus since these 2 are different products.
wow so tempted ... $200 hotel credit, $400 airline credit, Free Walmart plus, Free Disneyplus bundle, $100 Sakfith, and 150K point for premium cabin travel...

Its not like Chase reserve. Only selected hotels (may be not even enough for 2 day stay) and airline credit is only for extra fees.

Any hints on how to actually cash out with the MS card? I have an MS Platinum and no clue how to redeem for cash at 1c per mile
