Its also much more expensive, probably 20% more almost.
Not true about only the G1. Officially yes, but for several months the majority of people buying the 77C1 have received the EVO panel. There is a way to decipher the serial number on the box that tells you if you have the EVO panel on your 77C1 ….just google it.
Please spend some time discussing things with other people in person that you don't agree on.

Will you please stop saying the C1 doesn't have an Evo panel? Google this - the C1 have been made with Evo panels for months. You keep repeating this in this thread and it is flat out wrong and misleading.

also it's not just the 77 inch model and up - all the C1 series have been released with Evo panels.
Seems like you might need the same advice. If you'd discuss disagreements with people in person instead of just on the internet, you might have better things to say.
Amazed at the picture quality, colors and contrast over my regular LED (sadly 1080p) TVs in comparison to this thing. It has ruined tv buying forever lol. And I mean that in a good way that you can enjoy things more vividly and clearer with better images compared to you're everyday run of the mill ever cheaper regular led TV's. But to each their own as budgets are budgets and dreams are dreams since no one is the same. But it's great to share such information so others can get a sense at the reactions people like myself get when finally changing to a new tv technology.

Wrong they are getting brighter but things like heatsinks and new panel types are lowering the risk of burn in not increasing it as they get brighter.
