They are banned on here. Most of the good TV deals on here used to be posted by them. But their posts got excessive and Slick probably didn't get a big enough cut lol
If every oled is coming burn in warranty, then probably isnt a issue or extermely rare because no company wants to be paying out.

Where would you buy, BuyDig vs. Beachcamera. Even their return policies are the same.
I'm leaning towards BuyDig because it offers "room of choice" delivery.

Only the G1 series did, not C1

Its also much more expensive, probably 20% more almost.

Not true about only the G1. Officially yes, but for several months the majority of people buying the 77C1 have received the EVO panel. There is a way to decipher the serial number on the box that tells you if you have the EVO panel on your 77C1 ….just google it.

The Toe has the 65" C1 right now for $1,450. Obviously the C2 is better but IMHO nobody (especially coming from a non-OLED TV) would really notice the difference unless your a tech person. I have a feeling it will be awhile before the prices come down to any near that level especially since the C2 prices have higher starting MSRP's than the C1's when they came out.

Weird that you picked the response to admonish. The original comment they were replying to is rude and doesn't add anything to the conversation, it's fair to respond in kind.
No, do unto others as they did to you isn't quite how you'd envision things going.

Yes, the C1 series didnt have the EVO panels so the C2 will have better brightness and such over the C1 no matter the size. Now cost wise you can get the 77 C1 much cheaper obviously than the C2 so that would be a good reason but subtract cost and the C2 will be better on almost every aspect I think

Will you please stop saying the C1 doesn't have an Evo panel? Google this - the C1 have been made with Evo panels for months. You keep repeating this in this thread and it is flat out wrong and misleading.

https://techunwrapped.com/how-to-...pening-it/

also it's not just the 77 inch model and up - all the C1 series have been released with Evo panels.

So when I mentioned a problem and gave a solution, that's not the definition of constructive?
Seems like you might need the same advice. If you'd discuss disagreements with people in person instead of just on the internet, you might have better things to say.

I remember reading that comment about the C1 having the EVO panel in the last few months and I quickly went to the garage to read the serial of my recently purchased 65C1 and learned it was indeed to new EVO panel. Happy to know I lucked out with the random box selection at Costco when I purchased the TV.

Amazed at the picture quality, colors and contrast over my regular LED (sadly 1080p) TVs in comparison to this thing. It has ruined tv buying forever lol. And I mean that in a good way that you can enjoy things more vividly and clearer with better images compared to you're everyday run of the mill ever cheaper regular led TV's. But to each their own as budgets are budgets and dreams are dreams since no one is the same. But it's great to share such information so others can get a sense at the reactions people like myself get when finally changing to a new tv technology.

Looking at 77. Still worth it? Is picture better? I see the c2 comes with 4k tuner which is nice. My market has 2 4k stations now but this definitely helps future proof the set.
I'm not 100% certain but doesn't only the G2 have the gen 3 turner?

The C1 77 inch did have evo panel but it was not being used as an evo panel in any of the sets that had it. They were asked specifically about this and they said it's a matter of the tech and the panel and on non G series sets even with the evo panel it wasn't being implemented as an evo panel. So yea they had evo but they were not working as evo panels.

Also "Granted new panels have been improved upon to deal with the issue BUT guess what OLEDs are becoming brighter therefore increasing the chances of burn-in.

IF OLED TVs were as bright as top LED/LCD TVs (1,000~1,500 nits) it would not be long before burn-in and red sub-pixel degradation began to take a toll on the panel."

Wrong they are getting brighter but things like heatsinks and new panel types are lowering the risk of burn in not increasing it as they get brighter.
